Big Situation to Keep an Eye On: Blackburn or Klein?

Klein was a big part of the win in San Fran the first time around, and yet, when Blackburn has been healthy, more often than not, he has gotten the nod over Klein. I think Klein's speed is vital, especially on passing downs, versus the Niners. But, Blackburn is a heady guy, an emotional leader, and just always seems to be in the right place at the right time.

Who do you hope sees more time and who do you expect to play more?

Kleins abilities trump playoff experience. That term is so overused it's not even funny. From peewee to pros you play for championships, you play in one and done tournaments. The only teams who are in trouble are the ones who are used to not giving 100% every week. You train your mind how to behave beginning in the offseason. If you take days off, you take plays off, then you have an off game. Get your mind right and the body will follow.

      Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.

      Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.

      Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
