Refs in todays Game

This has to be one of the most horribly officiated games in the NFL playoffs at this level.  8 teams left with everything on the line and we get a crew that knows very little about the NFL.  The NFL never fines any Refs for horrible calls that switch a game.  The beginning of the game the personal foul was horrible tipped ball with the ball infront of the WR the CB hits him which is allowed.  The non headbutt call when the panthers received one earlier and on the same drive a no call 12 men in the huddle which was pointed out by Luke and Thomas Davis that the Refs ignore which results in a TD.  Right there should of been  a FG and a punt on the previous drive.  These are momentum killers.  would have produced a different game.  These Refs need to be held accountable just as players are during the game.  If a crew scores less then a B or hell an A when evaluated they should be suspend for X amount of games.  Players get fined for hits that are borderline illegal to legal.   This commish is by far the worst of any sports.  You can hear it at the Draft and he still just laughs his way to the bank.  Horrible...just plain horrible.  KEEP POUNDING!

I hate that the announcers of course make no suggestion to the fact that these calls where horrible at the beginning.  Unless its a horrible call against the Panthers that could change the game we get no respect.  We should be able to sign most of our 1 yr contract guys to small contracts again and bring in some young guys to teach up and continue this progression.  We need....We need a another number 1 WR...someone that has a season or two to learn from one of the greatest, not just "best hands"....one of the greats...WE gained experience in this one and now have more to work on....KEEP POUNDING!!!

Oh shut up!

These same refs cheated the Pats weeks ago.

What goes around comes around man.

No need to cry about it. SF bested us.

Did you watch the game?  apparently not......and i'm sure you're not a carolina fan.....and you won't understand this...KEEP POUNDING!

Refs had one bad call that game. They didn't show a slant early and consistsntly

Delusional much? The 49ers were kicking us in the teeth and they looked the other way. They allowed them to control the tempo and intensity of the game. Our team could have played better but it was truly terrible calling for the playoffs.

    • Joe Person   @josephperson · 16m     Panthers become the 1st team this yr with 5 weekly winners: Rico Dowdle, Ryan Fitzgerald, Sam Martin, Tre'von Moehrig and Bryce. Panthers last did that in 2017: Cam Newton, Julius Peppers, Luke Kuechly, Jonathan Stewart and Damiere Byrd.
    • Gotta wonder if Smitty's brain has turned to mush with how hard he played in the NFL
    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
