Lafell will take a small contract....he can produce at times and his blocking as a WR is undervalued in our Off by the public...Ginn for sure...Mitchell too...Hardy looks like we'll have to let walk....too many big contracts coming in the following year....and we have a few other holes we can fill with his big cap number that he will request.  KEEP POUNDING!

Is there anyway we can get Johnson and Johnson. Andre and Chris?

Andre could be exactly what Boldin is to Kap to Cam.

AJ is a year younger than Boldin. Draft two receivers still though, let them learn from Johnson and Smitty and have a solid rotation going.

If you would have Asked me this question last week I would have said no, have to get younger. But Johnson still has "it" like Boldin. This would also allow Smitty to work the slot. Plus Johnson is a guy like Smitty that Cam could trust from day 1

We need one of those guys who excels at getting open in the middle of the field.  Doesn't have to be 6'4" or run a 4.4, just a guy who understands getting open and can do it regularly. Somebody who can bail out Cam consistently when nothing down field is available, even if its just 8-10 yards completions.  Olsen has kind of evolved into that guy but if we could get a WR who might make someone miss occasionally it might add another element to the offense.  We will also need to have an offensive philosophy that allows us to utilize such an individual

I wouldn't re-sign Ginn or Hixon. I'd keep LaFell as a 4th WR. Draft a receiver and sign someone like Kenny Britt.

I would keep Ginn as a returner and 4-5th receiver and offer to pay him accordingly.  If he isn't cool with that then let him go.  I can't imagine Hixon coming back.  If we could end up with Ginn/Lafell as our 4-5 receivers with SS, one high draft pick and one decent FA as our 1-3 that would be a definite upgrade if the new guys pan out.

Ginn, Edelman, and Nicks. Postpone WR for another year. Fix the line in the draft. Best LT in 1st. A safety (mikell is old and I'm not too sold on Lester although I love the upside) or corner in the second. Then look to CB/double dip OT in 3rd.

Have to move on from Deangelo this off-season. Despite the Cap ramifications we need that contract off the books moving forward.

    • The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
    • This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
    • The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
