We should trade a running back to indy

Lol omg that is SO FUNNY what a kneeslapper, haha...

You DO realize our Panthers tied up most of their money into a very expense backfield, only to have the fugging QB as the lead rusher, and the best back we have is an outcast free agent who looks like he should be a lineman.

Laugh it up.

I wouldn't say outcast free-agent. He accepted less money to come here.

I say we give them J-Stew and Deangelo for free. They just have to take their contracts.

Yep, they seem to continue to think GM's are lined up for a 30+ RB and would also want to pay him $millions upon $millions.

And to boot, they'd want to give us draft picks to do it.

Good deal if you can find it.

How do you call Tolbert an outcast when another team had an offer for him that was a million dollars higher?

    • Pretty sure that a QB contract payday is all the competition any QB in this league needs, I don't think a competent backup is going to make them play any harder when the current situation wouldn't warrant the contract extension yet anyways. Your opening point in this post is also the problem, "Bryce has shown signs of improving", but that's still all he's shown, and he's only showing that because of just how bad he was to start his career. If he played like last season from the beginning and never improved one bit, then I actually think more fans would be ready to move on from him, which is what's weird.  It's like going from one of the biggest draft busts of all time into the 25th best QB in the league over 3 years means he deserves a long term $40+ million a year contract extension. Improvement shouldn't be the goal when the result of said improvement is still bottom of the league levels.
    • Yeah, but we've seen him do it. Just not often. I think that's the reason for the taller WRs. Would likely be a problem finding someone like Jimmy Horn in the mess.
    • And the Rams, Seattle, Patriots, Green Bay, Jaguars and the Bills who all made the playoffs and in case you forgot, Seattle and the Patriots played in the SB. By any measure, that's pretty brutal.
