I need your best chili recipe

To answer your question though, I use just a tiny bit of ancho chili pepper and chipotle chili pepper, just enough so you can tell it's different than spaghetti sauce.  I add tobasco or texas pete to my bowl for the heat.

Made this just this past weekend.  Just kind of made it up as I went and it turned out really good.

1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb chorizo
1 large pablano pepper
1 red pepper
1 med onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 lg can crushed tomatoes
1 lg can tom sauce
1 15oz can dark red kidneys
1 15oz can black beans
1 15oz can pintos
1 small can of corn (white & sweet kernels)

To taste and in order of importance & proportion  Start with tablespoons and go up/down to suit
4 parts Chili powder
2 parts Oregano
1 part Cumin
1 part Paprika

Dice the onion and peppers and mince the garlic.
Saute them in a little olive oil until the onions start to turn translucent
Add the meat and brown - add in a bit of the chili powder, oregano, and cumin to the mix once the meat starts to brown.
Drain the mix.

Return the mix to the pot and add all of the cans (drain the beans first) except the corn.

Add spices to taste

Cover and bring up the heat until is near boiling.

Take off the heat and let it sit covered for a couple of hours

Return to a low heat and once its back up to a serving temp add the corn

Give it another 5 minutes and your good to go.

Add some cubed queso to the chili in the bowl and have some blue tortilla chips on hand.

Depends if you want to make texas chili or something else.

Buy a can off chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. add one pepper (washed) early on in the process. At the end add 2 tablespoons of the left over adobo sauce. it will add a smokey flavor and some heat.

    • Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.
    • I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.
    • I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
