Can Jimmy Clausen read a defense?

Awesomeness!!

Don't worry, in the upcoming weeks you will soon hear the same about Bridgewater.

Next year it will be Winston and Hundley who "a times struggles to decipher complex defenses"  and "need to prove they can command a huddle" and "not rely too much on athletic abilities" and "prove they are gym rats."

lol I heard on ESPN Manizel was the "the hardest working QB in college football this season" and "have no doubts he is worthy of the number one overall pick." And no it was not Bayless who said this.

Jimmy Clausen was drafted into a bad situation!! A team that was rebuilding, a coach about to be fired, and a lame duck GM!!! A team that was horrible at the time, he never had a chance, plus  he never showed anything. Weak arm ,moved like he had lead boots on and quaked in those heavy boots anytime he got near the goal line

After the Arizona game (and anytime Cam struggles) the pundits take to twitter about how his struggles are due to his "lack of understanding" or similar verbiage. Even a guy like RG3, who was hailed as not only super athletic, but a smart guy coming out of college had people question his intellect after ever bad play.

Is it possible that some of his bad play was due to a lack of understanding?
