Hardy, Florence, Bell, Olsen & Wharton can go ~

Olsen has probably been a top 6 TE in the league.  He's been awesome for us.  He has bailed out Cam a couple times on some throws.  He's a must keep for us to continue offensive success

yep. If you look around the league, he's about 4th or 5th best in the NFL right now.

Here I go again with chemistry. Sure you can split hairs on Hardy #'s but the response he gets from coaching and his effectiveness with his d is harder to quantify. This is stuff I look at.

Florence would be going into his 15th season if we bring him back, but I doubt he's coming back. As for Wharton, he played (imo) his best football toward the middle of the season. He started and finished poorly, so he might not have much left in the tank and that might have been his final season in the NFL. Hardy might want too much money from this cap hell team, so he could be gone. Olsen isn't going anywhere even though he's not good at gaining yards after the catch.

mmm..I dont think the personal attacks are warranted.  Too many counter arguments of 'hes cheap' doesn't seem a valid argument...that is settling.

But with our cap situation we need players that are cheap.  Wharton was solid as a rock.  Bell at best is a cheap back-up T.  He's not going to get starting money anywhere, and he's cheap to keep on board.

Consistency and chemistry goes a long way to putting out a good football team.  You know what teams aren't consistent?  The Raiders and Browns.  They have no chemistry in their FO or consistency among the coaching staff.  Its been a revolving door at both places and their lack of success has shown that

I love Olsen.  He has averaged over 730 yards in the 3 seasons he has been with us.  Only one fumble in 3 years and averages 5 TDs a season.  He is an above average TE and has elite hands.  His YAC isn't impressivebut it doesn't have to be.  His average yards per catch is over 11....first downs baby! What more can you ask?
