Theoretically: Can we cut Williams and Stewart and get a back like Beastmode?

no here's what we do. restructure stewart to a really cheap up-front contract but secretly backload it and not tell anyone and then trade him to the cardinals for their 7th-rounder. then when they find out and get really mad act all surprised and promise to make it right and find a three-way trade partner. then talk to the giants and tell them that they can have their 7th pick back if they give us a sixth and then also trade that 7th to the cards for stewart. then take that sixth and hire hurney for a one-day contract on day three of the draft to come in and make the pick. select a future hall of fame wide receiver, pay hurney with a pound of cocaine, fire him, and win superbowls.

we got this

Knowing Hurney he'd want to negotiate and trade the cocaine for something better like Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill.

if Jonathan Stewart is cut right now, he has an $18 million cap hit this season. If hes a June 1st cut, Carolina has a $5.4 Million cap hit this season, and a $12 million cap hit next season.  Its awful really. This man can literally do fuging nothing for 2 more years and make $18 Million.  His agent was a genius with his contract and Hurney agreed to it.

All we can do is A) hope he comes out and plays like he is worth at least half that money or B, hope he decides to retire.

If I'm not mistaken, Stewart accounts for a $5.5 million cap hit in 2014 and an $8.5 million cap hit in 2015 no matter what. The net result of Stewart being a June 1st cut this year would be the Panthers losing roughly $1 million in cap space this year and $4 million in cap space next year. I could be wildly wrong about that.

I just became a Seahawks fan!!!! not really. But, yea.

What's the word I'm looking for to explain the mess with Carolina's cap situation? Wait, got it: "DOUBLE TROUBLE".

And with the same response by a ton of Huddlers a couple seasons back, "double trouble" aint goin nowhere.  We are stuck
