Tweak or Overhaul?

Not sure we will have the cap space to do an overhaul of the OL, not with WR being a need as well. The right side of the OL was already a weakness, Gross retiring is just the final straw. Bell is not a starting right tackle, that's all there is to it. We are going to need a new LT, and a new RT.

Well, do we need to completely overhaul? Yeah, OK, a lot of the pieces aren't ideal, but there's gonna be some good ones there. A complete overhaul will take some time anyway, so i don't see this as a true dilemma. It's gonna be a slow, gradual process.

Keep Ryan. Bell no excuse gone. Amini back. Then throw in 3 need guys. And that Kuglia guy that we took over Kennan Allen.

Given that Keenan Allen was taken in the third round and Kugbila was taken in the fourth round (we did not have a third round pick).....your list is a complete fail.

Re-Sign Wharton. Play him at RG. Amini plays LG. Have Kugbila as a back up.

Sign a cheap LT/RT in free agency like Anthony Collins, Roger Saffold or David Stewart.

Draft a OT. Preferably in the 1st 2 rounds.

I say we need to break out the check book and bring in a solid LT in free agency. We can not take this position lightly.

That Josh Norris guy said he would be surprised if Kugzilla every plays again. Said he will probably washout during OTAs or may make it to training camp. Either way he's probably done if this guy knows his stuff.

Tweak. We have an All-Pro center, and a guard rotation of Amini, Wharton, and Kug isn't bad. We mainly just need to upgrade the tackle...badly.
