Has any other team in the history of the nfl ever basically overhauled it's entire line and receiving options? I don't mean add a player or two I mean actually bring in four new linemen and four or five receivers all at once who have never even played together before ? Because this is what were talking about here, this team will be unrecognisable on offense.

I think if Wharton was going to retire he would have done it already. I'd take Amini coming off an acl over Hangartner, and Bell is better then what he gets credit for considering all the movement at RG last year. We still have Campbell as depth as well.

Wharton left here originally due to money, came back to prove he could still play and play with his best friend Jordan Gross.

Hangartner retired, so how he stacks up isn't relevant.

I'm not a Bell hater and I've caught a lot of flack for it, but you could easily upgrade him...at RT. He has no business at LT despite college experience and hand dominance- which I do think helps.

As I see it we really NEED one position, LT. Unfortunately it is a vital and thus very expensive position. Ideally we can upgrade both OT spots, but with the money we have versus the holes we have it seems unlikely.

We actually have a lot of olineman on the roster if people actually took the time to go look at our roster on panthers.com. The problem though is that we only have one quality starter and a bunch of camp bodies and drifters.

so what youre saying is we have one....

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Would have rather had a big time OT over Kraken seven days a week and twice on Sundays. There's a reason the flurry was fast and furious at 4 pm for OT and OT were 3 of the first 4 picks taken one year ago. VERY disappointed. Hope GMan is as smart as he thinks he is.

FWIW DE's flew off the shelves just as quickly as the OT's did, there were just fewer of them. I'm glad we held on to a budding star on a young, tenacious D.

Agree. I am OK with Bell at RT. Not great, but OK. LT is the big need.

as best as I can tell..

Center: Ryan Kalil, Bryan Folkerts

Guard: Edmund Kubilia, Amini Silatolu, Phillipkeith Manley, Michael Jasper, Derek Dennis

Tackle: Nate Chandler (converted from DT), Travis Bond

am I missing anybody? Do we really only have 2 OTs?

there is no point attempting to figure out our line before free agency, draft, and training camp.

Come on man!
