I like his style.

He's definitely a no-nonsense type of guy.

My only complaint is that sometimes he sticks with the second unit (mainly Ridnour) too long.

I agree.  I am thinking he wants to try to keep those guys as fresh as possible for the stretch run.  Those minutes add up.

Agreed. However, he said recently that he's getting in the playoff-push rotation, meaning a shorter leash for second unit guys and less time for "player development".

It will be Clifford in my opinion. He is really showing to be a good coach that teaches fundamentals and has a solid feel for the game. Continues to improve as a coach and has surrounded himself with a excellent staff.

Brown was too old school for me and tried bringing in players that did something 10 yrs ago for him. He didnt adjust to the roster he had and rather made moves that crippled us for many years. Adding Nazr and Diop where horrible short vision moves by a guy trying to win some games today and not worried about tomorrow. I wont sit and say he wasnt at one time a good coach winning a college and NBA championship speaks for itself. He never sustained success anywhere bouncing around the league a lot, he won with talent loaded Det team that had a dominant run over 3-5 years where he should have won more. Only the Lakers and Spurs were constant challengers and feel he left a ring on the table. I am too young to talk of his college days but heck he has done a solid with SMU this year lol. His career winning % is 56.8, really not that impressive looking at the numbers.

    • The game thread is stream of consciousness. I may or may not have made a tasteless remark I don’t recall.    I know that my reaction was mixed, , not sure if I thought it was a positive or a negative in terms of.the game.    What I do know is we don’t need him hurt in the middle of a year where the jury is looking to come in on his future. fug that we need him playing and healthy so it is a fair game evaluation wise.    That is absolutely the most important thing in my mind by a large margin. I am not happy he is hurt, at all.
    • It's Wednesday, we're bored, and suffering theough another Halloween cooking show pretendingto be interested. What'd you expect.
    • I wasn't saying that's the only way to get one. My post was in direct response to the "if you have the opportunity to get a game breaking TE, you take them" I was just saying that if you're taking a TE in the 2nd or 3rd round, you're just hoping they can become that game breaking TE.  The ones that you KNOW will become that, are the guys like Bowers or Warren who go in the early 1st round. We just took mid round TEs that both show solid potential, I don't see how taking a TE in the 1st would make sense over the other available players.  And taking one in even the 2nd or 3rd just seems like to big of a risk at that position when we have so many other needs.
