he's better than mitchell and we're paying him way less. personally i hate the motherfuger, but this is a good football decision.

If Smitty was a locker room thing, what message does this send to a locker room full of guys that may not care too much for this guy?

In fairness, nothing supports Harper having to be treated with kiddie gloves and people walking on egg shells. 89 has always been a wildcard per reports behind the scenes.

None of your post answers my question. Just another comment about Steve.

I would think there are a few guys in this locker room that don't like Harper. It just seems hypocritical at best.

If true, then I'm cool with it. As for the people who hate him, once he starts making plays, you'll change your opinion on the guy. I hated Cam when he played for Auburn, but a simple change of uniform made me feel different about the guy.

Because your an Alabama fan in North Carolina? Very original.

A few guys didn't like Mike Mitchell....

So what does 89 being cut have to do with bringing in a former opponent that plays a little dirty

You are a very confrontational poster. The majority of your posts are for the sole purpose of

an argumentative response. A little dirty? Come on man.

Forget about Smitty for a sec.

Getts sited the locker room as a potential reason to make certain moves. This move contradicts that with a guy that has a history with a lot of our guys. I'm just trying to figure this out like everyone else.

    • Don't have to be miss cleo. His weakness are length, athleticism, creating his own shot, defense, finishing at the rim,  Strengths - shooting and IQ.   Likely won't work as non athletic shooters don't typically work.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
