I believe (totally off the top of my head) that if we were to trade CJ that ~18 million would then come due on our cap immediately... 

 

His deal was 6 years for 72 Mil, with (I believe) 36 guaranteed (and he's 3 years in, iirc)...

if you want to see how much of an impact CJ has, watch our DL vs NE before and after his injury, and then on the last drive.

 

CJ is very underrated by the fanbase I think.

No and no. Whether trade Hardy for Jackson and 1st round pick instead. Get Hardy 13.1 million off the books. CJ is a better overall player. People keep forgetting Hardy got a lot of his sacks against sucky olineman this past season. I whether be him then CJ.
