Per Aaron Wilson - quoting the Philadelphia Inquirer in The National Football Post - the Eagles have "redoubled their efforts" to try and trade wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

 

Wilson mentions the Panthers as an option (indirectly citing Ian Rapoport).

we couldve gotten nicks. we didnt want to pay him. 2 crappy seasons and a big injury concern. he wasnt worth the money in gmans eyes. if we really want djax we can find away to get him. contracts can always me manipulated.

I don't think Gettleman is interested right now, but like his philosophy in free agency he'll wait it out and if Philly becomes desperate enough then he may become interested.

But I'd expect Oakland or the Jets to jump in before it gets to that point

you honestly believe we couldn't match a 1 yr, 3.5 mill $$ contract?....lol

They ain't cutting him. Not with all that money the owe him. By the way we offered nicks more. And gman said u would be better to go to colts. What a dummy. No way possible djax comes here. And if contracts could be manipulated don't u think we would have kept more players instead of just letting them go. People on here are so hilarious
