Could our pick at 28 shape up to be Latimer?

We seem to be vetting him more than anyone else in the draft and some recent news/articles suggest he's rising to a late 1st/early 2nd rounder.

6'3 215, highlight vids look sweet, his game film seems to be legit against a very good Michigan St. defense.  

 

 

 

Could this be our 1st round pick?  The OTs we've seem interested in our 2nd/3rd rounders like Fleming, Turner, Moses, and Thomas.

 

*Also want to note I wouldn't take Amaro out of the picture.  The Jets or Ravens may grab him early but if not, he could be available when we pick.

Yeah.  I think Latimer and Davante Adams are guys we could wind up taking instead of some of the more highly talked about Cooks and Beckhams of the draft.  

Latimer really has some great athleticism that shines through his game.

You and I feel the same way, Chuck. Sure, I think Latimer has some game, but there are a ton of different prospects I'd much rather have at 28 than him. I mean, at the WR position alone, we're talking OBJ/Adams/Matthews/possibly Cooks/possibly Benjamin... It's really hard to say I would be happy, or understand, the Latimer pick if he is picked at 28.

At the end of the day, I really think Latimer will be a 2nd rounder the earliest. I cant see him in the 1st. For whatever reasons, Panthers fans this year is believing that everyone will be going in the 1st. I mean only 32 players can go in the 1st lol.

Theres about 4-5 wrs that I will easily take over Latimore at 28.

This guy is shooting up boards and seems to be a hot commodity as far as 2nd to 3rd day of the draft.  Really dont see first round here.  Much rather have Troy Niklas instead.

I have us taking him in the 3rd.  Should still be there.  The guy was projected to be a late 5th to early 6th round pick.  No way his stock jumps up that high just because he did well at his pro day.
