According to PFT Panthers have interest in Sidney Rice

He got cleared by Dr. James Andrews. PFT's Mike Florio reports the Seahawks, Giants, Saints, and Panthers all have "interest of some degree" in Rice, who has been incredibly injury prone in recent seasons but is still only 27 years old. He played college football at South Carolina and would be an excellent fit with the Panthers. Also, I'm a homer and Sidney Rice is one of my all time favorite Gamecocks. I would love him on this team. But only for the right price. He's been incredibly injury-prone in the NFL. If we could get him on an extremely cheap deal he'd be an awesome jump-ball threat for Cam when he's healthy (healthy being the key).

If we get Rice, I'm going to go out on a limb and say we go OT (Moses, CK, or Martin) in the first (unless Cooks makes it to us) and WR (Latimer, Matthews) in the second.
