History of serious leg injuries? One in how many years.

Saturday Sucks.

Saturday played 13 seasons for the Colts, where he won a Super Bowl ring and was selected to four All-Pro teams and five Pro Bowls. He made his sixth and last Pro Bowl as a member of the Packers.

This conversation is over cause you know jack poo about what you are talking about.

Only Guarantee I see is that you just made a damn fool of yourself by saying Saturday sucks. Guy has a great chance of being in the Hall of Fame..

Go back to your NINER page cause you damn sure don't know poo about anything else.

You have the reading comprehension skills of a potato.

I didn't say anything about Saturday's career. I said Saturday sucked his last year. Newsflash: he did suck. Green Bay benched him because he was so terrible.

You're the one who used Saturday making the Pro Bowl at age 36 as a reason Kalil will be worth his salary at an older age. Saturday only made the Pro Bowl because he was retiring and homer Colts fans voted him in. He was beyond horrible that year.

Show me where it says he was benched because he sucked.  I also said he played at a PRO BOWL LEVEL until he was 36.   I highly doubt he was vote strictly because of Indy.  It isn't like Indy is a huge market area.

Name me the players you think are better than Kalil at Center?   Go ahead and say Mack.    You can pop off a couple of names I am sure but NONE will be better than Kalil.  None can touch his current resume.   Go ahead.

Go back and troll the 49er forum will ya.

He did not play at a Pro Bowl level anywhere near age 36. There's a reason Indy got rid of him & there's a reason GB benched him. He sucked his last few years.

Kalil's "resume" has nothing to do with 2014. That is the dumbest argument you've made yet. Steve Smith has a better resume than any other active WR but there are at least 50 WRs better than him right now.

Saturday was voted to the PRO BOWL 5 times AFTER he turned 30.  INCLUDING at the AGE of 36. While he may not have been stellar as many were used to it doesn't mean he sucked.  The Packers were 9-4 with him in the line up and 3-1 without him. Regardless of whether you believe he was benched for sucking.  You have zero proof he was benched for that.

Furthermore, Indy let him go so they could get younger and start new with Luck.

Your reasoning that Indy fans voted him in is stupid too.  Many may have NOT voted for him because he went to Green Bay as those that voted for him because he was a great Colt.  He got voted in because he was a good center.

Kalil has been to every Pro Bowl from 2009-2013 (expect 2012 when he was injured)   You don't let a player like this go. EVER.

A savvy veteran like Kalil you pay the big money or you pay the other way by losing continuity on your offensive line.

I am done arguing with you.  Your arguments are lame and your justification is worse.

Picks based on CBS prospect ranking | http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings

Offensive LineThe Carolina Panthers are getting younger, and filling key position on the roster for a smash mouth pro style offense like Seattle & 49rs. The middle of the O-line will be anchored by the pro bowl C-Kalil who is a master technician in the run & pass game. Amini & Kugbilla provides the guard combo that has the size, strength,& athletic ability to create true run gaps, and ability to pass protect. Byron Bell provides the most experience at the Tackle position, and his strength is also in the run game. The draft will provide us another tackle that can win the LT position in the off-season, or start at the RT.

Run Game | The run game has been the foundation for the Panther's Offense since the franchise was founded. Recent years have shown decline in the run game due to OL, injures, and passing league, yet the Panthers still manged to be in top 12 in 2013. Panthers philosophy is to play hard nose football and the running game will get a boost with the return of a healthy Stewart in the off-season training along with a younger OL. Mike Tolbert is the Swiss knife of the Panthers playing special team, short-yardage, screens, & goal line plays that produced 7 TD's for the offense. The Backfield Co. provides players with special niche in the offense that will be relied heavily on in the 2014 season.

Passing Game | This unit is in rebuilding mode anchored by TE Greg Olsen, whose production have gone up ever year. Jason Avant and Cotchery provides veteran leadership, reliable target and lost production in FA. The coaches and FO believes that we don't need  a true # 1 WR but instead committee that can produce. The 2014 draft is a deep WR class that will allow the Panther's to draft  starting  WRs that can work outside and provide red-zone target.

Defense | This unit finished # 2 and will improve in 2014 with experienced gained by the younger players. Key addition of Cason, Harper, and Decouds provides experience, veteran leadership, and size for the back-field. In addition, the help of younger DB and the draft will allow  Defense to become  more balanced on the front and back end.

1. OT- Cyrus Kouandjio | http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/cyrus-kouandjio?id=2543482

2. WR- Jordan Matthews | http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/jordan-matthews?id=2543500

3. OT- Antonio Richardson | http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/antonio-richardson?id=2543508

more backup CB's and a WR who can't catch a cold, great just great. 1-3 is ok but there has to be something better than 4-7.

I'm not saying Saturday sucked, but just because the dude was voted into the Pro Bowl by fans doesn't really have any meaning any more. poo, on this very forum we dictated the outcome of the greatest jersey in history poll that NFL.com did, and that was over the span of like, 20-30 people. Imagine an entire fan base (and a fan base as loyal as the Colts and Pack) pooling together for one of their beloved players.

Like I said before.  For every fan that loved and adored him in Indy there was one that was furious he would not retire a Colt and went and played for somebody else.

Each team had a representative and I just don't see Saturday being that adored that Colts fans voted him in.  I would say more people voted for him because of his name and being familiar than a bunch of Colts fans voting him in.  Not everyone knows every player and how well they played when they voted.

I think the Pro Bowl should be voted by the players as they are the ones who face each other.  They know who is tough and who isn't.   That and the coaches and give the fans a 1/3 of the weight.

But that isn't how it is done.  So we can only go by what actually happened.   2012 Saturday was a Pro Bowler.   It will have weight when he hits his 5 yr mark and they start talking HOF.   If he gets in, it won't be 4 Pro Bowl appearances and a one gimme appearance.   It will be 5 Pro Bowls.  PERIOD.

I mean Saturday was good, but having Peyton Manning as a QB with such a quick release couldn't hurt. I like Kalil, however with his future cap hit I just don't see him staying with out a pay cut. Just good business Kalil is not part of the future plans.

Um...that is exactly how it is done. Players, coaches, and fans all get a third. It is pretty much the fairest way to go about it. Fans complain when players don't vote there favorite players on to the team. And Players complain when fans vote their favs over more deserving players.

The Pro Bowl is an award unlike any other. Every rag, mag, blog, sports site, and joe blow have their year end all pro lists. Some carry more weight than others. But the Pro Bowl? That is on a totally different level.

The Pro Bowl is a fugging trip to Hawaii. Who wouldn't want that?

Other than the Pro Bowl. All Pro is the one players covet.
