Brandin Cooks Surprises His Mom

Could give a fug about his character, just want a legit talent. But. Good for him I guess.

I'm pretty sure character is just as important as on-field talent. What good is talent if you're going to ruin it on something non-football?

1. your family is just as capable of manipulating and stealing from you as any "crew". i'm not talking about mom here-every cousin, nephew, and niece is going to want a piece of that. and get this: it's also a lot harder to say no to cousin bobby and his can't-miss business venture than some random asshole. this is something we've seen over and over again among pro football players.

2. suggesting that a guy who is going to get a few million guaranteed on a mid-late first round rookie deal shouldn't make a habit of buying luxury SUVs cash before he's even played a down of football doesn't make me stupid just because you've been emotionally manipulated by a news story.

3. he isn't going to get his fug you money until his fifth year option is picked up (the value of which depends on where he's drafted) or he gets a second contract which is years out from now. that's if he makes it that far that is which is a roll of the dice as we all know.

It's one car for the single mother who raised him, don't try to make it into something it's not. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt on your previous post, but this solidifies it.....your a idiot

any other phd candidates want to write a kneejerk shitpost in response to me and demonstrate that you don't understand that the topic i'm discussing is separate from "guy buys car for his mom"?

Look, its a cross between Dr Phil and Dave Ramsey.

    • Svechnikov and I'm voting cause I'm pissed.
    • He had games where he was a top 10 QB that week, vs Saints, Falcons, Eagles, Chiefs, Bucs.  Amazing performances that I think show what he can do consistently.  He must play with confidence to overcome physical limitations where someone like Cam can struggle all game and then win the game at the end by running someone over. Bryce won’t be that and I am fine with it, it’s time for us to move on to the new era. It’s been 5 long years.
    • We both know there's more that goes into batted passes than just the height of the QB. Most people here have readily acknowledged this and there were numerous discussions about it before we drafted Young. But if you are presenting a POV that Bryce's height hasn't tied to issues with his footwork then there's nothing anyone is going to be able to say to sway you and you know this. Even beyond the footwork I recall a redzone play where Bryce couldn't see around his right tackle at all where a receiver was waiting practically alone in the end zone for a touchdown. There are real world circumstances that are going to show up over the course of the upcoming season and it's up to Bryce and Dave Canales to make adjustments and do anything they can to mitigate negative instances and yes that begins with Bryce's footwork again. Thanks for your time. Have a nice weekend.
