2014 SCHEDULE

Really disappointed with the week 1 game. Why do we get Tampa early in the season so much. Other than that I like it.

Second time we have had to go to Tampa with a start of a new regime down there.  First time I thought it would be a W because they would still be getting their legs under that scheme.    Boy was I wrong.

I see 10-6 in our future.

Week 2 through 11 won't be a cake walk

Detroit is Detroit and can put up a lot of points

Pittsburgh will be better

@Baltimore is always tough

Chicago has been solid

@Cincy not easy

@Green Bay tough back to back road games

Seattle is the best team in the NFL

Saints we'll split like we usually do

@Philly never easy

Atlanta will be much improved

Baring injuries, our defense is just so good I think they can carry us to a 10-6 record.

I love the week 12 bye, finally!

And the end of our schedule is very favorable.

11-1

13-3

14-2

...Lots of homers in here it looks like

Or maybe you should believe that we're finally a good team and are simply better than most of the competition we have. I believe once the roster is settled, it'll be better going into this year than it was last year. Plus, we're not getting screwed on the schedule. I usually don't homer, but i can't imagine anything less than 11-5 worst case scenario.

Hmm. Now that I have Yankees and Nets season tickets, I'm going to have to avoid this place on gameday. Looks like I'll be DVRing some games. Including the damn opener! Except that they don't come on up here and I either watch through my PS3 or Sunday Ticket online. Can't record those! #problems

Can you say BANDWAGON???

The team has already set our goal on 9 wins all offseason, "winning season" has been said way too many times. I think we start fast and throttle after the first 2 or 3 weeks of that 9 week gauntlet, I think we also close it out strong and somehow make it in as a wildcard after the NFC West kills each other, NFC East no worry, and who knows about the NFC North, luckily there are two wildcard slots. From there just hope our D does what the Giants D does in the playoffs from time to time.

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
