  1. Past hour
  2. I think that is totally valid. When I look at it, it looks like we have basically two coordinators independent of each other. And he does not control the defense which seems to be decreed from above. ST ahead a horrible day but overall have not really been a problem. Muffed punts yeah but not unit wide collapse like yesterday. I am goi g to put that in a burn the tape category for them Leaving offense. And the offense is being brought down by the QB. Like it usually has been the previous seasons. I totally get that despite an agreement Tepper could break the agreement finding cause but that is being set up big time to fail.
  3. idk, running HB draws on 3rd and 10 and punting inside the opponent's 50 screams playing scared playing "not to lose" while getting blown out in the 1st quarter is insane
  4. I also like how all of these people keep trying to make Bryce’s shortcomings an organizational failure. Don’t get me wrong, the organization is f*cked. But, even with Baker, Sam, and PJ, as impotent as our dysfunction made them look, they still had flashes. They still won more. They still competed in a fair amount of games. With Bryce, the vast majority of these games are over as soon as they begin. It’s him. He is THE problem. I really wish they would quit pissing away entire seasons sticking with him. Because I promise you, if Andy was playing, everyone would be posting their “well, I’ll be damned” takes. It would blow you away how suddenly solid our entire team would look with a functional NFL QB.
  5. Mainly because Bryce does not throw the ball well down the field. I think he has a niche, but probably not with Bryce. He’s going to have to find little holes in the zone to be successful with BY
  6. See, I knew when we finally took another QB first overall, they'd also make history!
  7. Bryce Young has the 3rd worst win % in NFL history (min 30 starts) https://x.com/stevereedap/status/1972686455433527339?s=46
  8. I totally agree with this I felt that he would fall in the draft I don't think he did as good at Colorado as they built it up to believe
  9. When I think back to Bryce Young’s debut the biggest reaction, of many incredulous reactions, was to his lack of urgency. I remember being totally, well, shocked, I guess is the word. It was crystal clear I had no explanation or rationalization for it. He was still doing the crappy parallel to the LOS slow dropback. I think he has infected the whole team now. edit: at least the offense. I meant to say, I have become numb to it after years of it, I think, because it doesn’t look like that now it looks like what I am used to seeing on Sundays. I guarantee you, get him out of here and we get better.
  10. They play afraid because they know that one mistake will doom the entire game due to the QB/coaching/everything. You can't play like that!
  11. I have no problem with them saying they had a great week of practice. I believe them. i literally read this earlier: It’s simple. And Jaycee is alluding to it. The play calls were working, but the Pats took off on us with Bryce missing wide open passes at least 3 drives in a row, starting with the throw off the Pats’ players facemask. It also became abundantly clear that the staff doesn’t trust BY at all. Once he missed the open throws, they usually tried to run with minimal success, then tried to pass again which resulted in failure. The plays were there to be made. The guy pulling the trigger can’t make them. That’s why the drives stalled. Then, as the blueprint has played out with Bryce since he became starter, the snowball starts rolling and eats up all the little pieces in its path along the way. The offense can’t sustain drives, the other team picks up momentum, the defensive morale goes down the shitter and they start giving up everything, etc. The offense kills every fuging semblance of confidence and momentum every week. These games look wildly different if we had any kind of ability to sustain drives and score TDs on offense. It’s like being a pitcher with no run support… you can keep pitching lights out, but when you don’t get any support, you start to crack. That’s what happens to the rest of our team every fuging Sunday. The one guy that the entire team depends on is the worst player on the field more often than not, and it results in the rest of our team bearing the responsibility of it.
  12. Dalton threw for 5/6 and 1 TD. What else could he have done better?
  13. His numbers for the season so far are admittedly impressive. I'll be curious to see how he sustains it. I have a hard time believing he would be doing that here though. I think he's where he wanted to be which is a bigger market.
  14. I expect him to do zip, just like I expect this team to do zip.
  15. Know what I’m tired of hearing? “We’re gonna watch the tape and fix our mistakes.” I think they play more ping pong than they watch tape.
  16. I like PANTSERS better than Panthers. Demand a name change NOW!!!
  17. That's the cycle. The field is stagnant until someone figured out the next thing to move the pile. A huge chunk of old school baseball was such fluff. The ugly girlfriend in moneyeball comes to mind. Thay entire scout scene was hilarious from the 'expertise' they slang.
  18. I wouldnt describe what they are doing as playing football
  19. Actually you can still have a chance when you don't have a QB. John Fox made it work with Tim fuging The Golden Calf of Bristol. Quincy Carter made the playoffs. Mark Sanchez. There's plenty of data on teams competing hard, even when not winning, when they have a terrible QB. It's hard, but you can. Something tells me if you put Dalton in the rest of the season the team will still go 4-13 or worse. There's no excuse for Panthers sucking all three phases. Canales clearly can't figure it out, or he doesn't have the balls to make changes, so he has to go. He's running the same poo. He and Evero both. There are no adjustments at halftime.
  20. Canales will probably be another guy who takes Tepper’s money and runs. He’s soft, he coaches soft and he basically lets the players run the team. Probably a great guy but not HC material.
  21. I just don't want PFF's analytics guys tho. Give me number crunches and not guys selling their angles. Hard pass on that. I would rather take analysis from non financially biased people.
