Dan Morgan: Panthers will pickup BY’s 5th year.

I know many of us are already looking forward to a stat line of 10/22 for 74 yards 1 td 1 int. For the entire game. Next season is just around the corner now. -
Carolina Panthers pick No. 19-2026 NFL Draft

From what I have seen I would love to have him. Our best defenses have always had a stud in the middle of our defense. We've actually been pretty luck in our history. Mills, Morgan, Beason and Luke. IMO MLB should be our priority. I think our defense would be pretty good if we can shore up the 2nd level. -

My alternative, tell Bryce he's playing on his final year and we're bringing in competition for the starting role. His play hasn't earned a 5th year option. Everyone seems to be hung up on these wins while forgetting how badly our offense looked all season from the QB position, minus a single game in Atlanta. His play has been backup caliber. Brissett, a backup that signed for 6 million per season, just threw for 3300 yards and 23/8 in Arizona in 14 games, with 12 of those being starts. Daniel Jones was having a resurgence before injury took his season. When you're playing less than backup quality, you don't deserve to have a guaranteed starter position for 2 years, especially when the 2nd year is 26.5m. -
I'm not saying most rookies get pass rushers even first rounders are 10 sacks guys. I am fine with scourton I think he's a solid player. He does have 10 sack potential.

You're probably right but no one knows how the draft will fall out. Can't hurt to have him as our #1 prospect. -
In no way did I suggest that though. I merely said Tepper is setting the table for a complete clean sweep to dump everything in the trash can. So there was really no need to replace Evero. You just align him the rest of the group. Canales has past the stage where he gets a shot at another QB. I would suspect if things go meh next year...literally everyone is gone. Tepper is always evolving. All he is doing is ending his greatest mistake which is having things misaligned where bad people stay and carry over to the next era. He seems to be making sure that is over IMO

He's Cyclops brother in the X-Men.

...just be happy that dude isn't in charge of anything but the sht rep button... -
I agree with the general opinion on Scott. I'd like to add the years of bad drafting and management left us with pretty bare. I'm actually think we over achieved with lesser talent at lb and fs and young players all over. Heck, every single draft pick from this year contributed significantly.

I don’t see how this is controversial in the slightest. We're simply buying some more time to make a long term decision. That way, we can use valuable resources to improve other areas and there are plenty of those. That and if you actually look at the alternate path, who would be the next QB? The FA market from what I see... no, thank you. And this upcoming QB class... yeesh. It's so easy to talk about replacing a QB, but Vikings gambled on McCarthy over Darnold and that completely blew up in their faces. As for a long term contract, I still hold onto the philosophy that even for "franchise" QB's, it's not worth it once the cap hit forces you to lose other players on the team as a consequence.

At this point, I'd be happy of 2 straight non losing seasons. He had 19. -
I can't take Morgan seriously when he says that they value Dalton. Dalton was washed last year, blatantly obvious to even the most casual NFL fan. So we extend him for 2 years, he goes in one game, and shits the bed worse than he did last year. Who could have predicted it right? It's like listening to Fitterer talk. It just sounds like a bunch of BS instead of just handing the mic to the guy really running the show. Come on down Big daddy Dave. We know it's you behind the curtain.

Next up, 5 year 260m extension with a 155m signing bonus. Will be done before draft time. Other franchises move on from their mistakes. Panthers double, triple down, bet the house and their 1st born child that Bryce will defy 60 years of NFL history. We are so fuging stupid. -
Maybe drop the damn 3-4. I don't think our personnel is as bad for a switch as most. Our inside linebackers suck anyways so no big loss there. Scourton can play in a 4-3 and princely didn't do anything in the 3-4 anyway. So we wouldn't make a change because one third round pick wouldn't make the cut?

Won 9 and 10 games with Kenny fuging Pickett. 10 games with the ghosts of Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers. -

Most head coaches aren't very good without a QB. Unless he's responsible for roster construction, I don't think Tomlin was the limiting factor in Pittsburgh.
