  1. Past hour
  2. As many issues that I’ve had with Bryce, I’m starting to lean BY9 these days.
  3. Canes are 0-2 in 1:00PM games, losing to Buffalo and Boston in November. Let's buck the trend.
  4. I don’t think they’ll make the two first round pick plus mega deal super swap that people think of when you say “all in” but I absolutely think they’ll reconsider the platoon strategy when it comes to signing free agents this offseason shouldve just given Milton Williams a little extra
  5. that seems dumb he brought them from laughingstock to perennial contender. Bring him back here!!!
  6. No shot he comes here. He is a battle tested Head Coach. If I had to put a bet on where he lands, I would say Arizona or Pittsburg.
  7. You want to get closer than that. I can't blame Caleb too much, but he has to get some amount of criticism for the throw. I will blame Ben Johnson, as Jason Garrett said, you have to be more methodical in your play calling in that situation. Big chunks were too risky. In general, I think that Ben Johnson was too aggressive at times. He and Williams are still trying to figure things out.
  8. They absolutely should have been dragged because CJ stroud won roty and has been far more successful than bryce. I dunno what’s going on with CJ but that doesn’t change the fact he’s been a better pick than the guy who was benched twice and hasn’t had a winning record. and I don’t think even the crankys of the world are going to claim that Bryce outplayed Caleb.
  9. If I'm DT, I'm called McD right now and asking him what he wants to be HC here. That said, McD will be the next coach of the Steelers.
  10. I would take him over Canales.......
  11. Somebody had to fall on their sword for the Bills not winning a Super Bowl
  12. Yep. I had no clue about this game until just now. Matinee action.
  13. The defense has been fairly good through his tenure. This year, the run defense slipped to 28 for whatever reasons, but they had the number one pass defense in the NFL, and overall 7th defense. I am too lazy to research the specifics, but generally their run defense faltered due to injury, aging players and contracts (business decisions and not being able to keep everyone). I have read that McDermott chose a kind of bend-don't-break philosophy and rely more on his elite pass defense this year.
  14. Too many job openings this year for McD to not get another HC job
  15. They needed like 5-8 yards to kick the game winning FG. Throwing the ball deep like that was unnecessary and reckless. The TE was open for that. I put it on the HC and QB.
  16. So, Williams saw what DJ was doing, DJ continued to do that and he was hoping he could redirect him with the throw. The risk/reward was just heavily skewed toward risk given that scenario. Williams got greedy and with his gunslinger mentality that might always be part of his DNA. Those years in college playing with trash tier D didn't help him develop in that regard. Back in college, he knew he pretty much always had to take the risk because his D was probably gonna give up a ton of points.
  17. That’s been who DJ Moore has been since we drafted him. Moments where he could be great, but other times he comes across as not even enjoying being paid big bucks to play a kids game. His heart isn’t in it consistently and it shows. That’s why I never saw him as a true #1 in Carolina and wasn’t mad when he was traded.
  18. Tepper.... you know what to do...
  19. Best of the offense 1. RT Taylor Moton: 81.0. 2. WR Tetairoa McMillan: 79.3 3. LG Damien Lewis: 77.7 4. WR Jalen Coker: 75.4 5. RG Brady Christensen: 72.7 Moton's excellence continues, as he's now finished with a top-three offensive grade for Carolina in six of the last seven seasons. The former second-round pick, amongst Panthers with at least 100 offensive snaps, has taken the No. 1 spot three times since 2020. McMillan and Coker led the team in the passing game—with 79.2 and 75.3 receiving grades, respectively. The former also comes away 1,014 receiving yards, the most ever for a Panthers rookie. Worst of the offense 18. C Cade Mays: 61.0 19. WR Hunter Renfrow: 56.9 20. WR Xavier Legette: 52.0 21. TE Ja'Tavion Sanders: 51.6 22. RG Chandler Zavala: 43.5 Save for wideout David Moore, Legette and Sanders finished with the offense's two lowest receiving grades (54.0 and 50.2). Both also took a dip in production from their rookie campaigns, with Legette going from 497 receiving yards to 363 and Sanders from 342 to 190. Zavala, amongst Panthers at that 100-snap mark, has finished with the unit's worst overall grade in two of his three NFL seasons. Best of the defense 1. CB Mike Jackson: 83.5 2. DL Derrick Brown: 73.3 3. CB Corey Thornton: 68.5 4. OLB Nic Scourton: 68.0 5. DL A'Shawn Robinson: 63.7 Excluding his 26-snap season in 2021, Jackson hit a career-high with an 85.8 coverage grade. According to PFF, he allowed a 65.1 passer rating when targeted—the 10th-best amongst all cornerbacks with at least 100 coverage snaps. Brown now has three top-two finishes for Carolina in his last three full seasons. He had the Panthers' top overall defensive grade in 2022 (84.4) and 2023 (90.1). Worst of the defense 17. OLB Princely Umanmielen: 49.8 18. ILB Christian Rozeboom: 48.4 19. DL LaBryan Ray: 45.7 20. ILB Krys Barnes: 43.9 21. DL Tershawn Wharton: 43.0 Wharton's 34.5 run defense grade was the worst amongst all 31 players who recorded a defensive snap for Carolina in 2025. Rozeboom tied for a team-high 19 missed tackles.
  20. The 8ish months between a seasons end and the start of the next one are for one thing and one thing only. Hope. BY was the right pick and will lead us to a Super Bowl. Ill be realistic again once we roll around to September 10th or so.
  21. I posted this in another thread but it's relevant here Stroud is not a bad guy. He had a great rookie season but he hasn't been the same since. And the last 2 weeks he has completely imploded and just looks beaten. The defense has carried that team. Young had one of the worst rookie seasons in one of the worst environments in recent memory. Last year we also had a record breaking bad def. He has improved and in his lone playoff game he had one of the best games of the season. Year 1 it was stroud no doubt over young Year 2 it was still stroud miles ahead but young was getting better after the benching Year 3 it might be a tie- after the playoffs Bryce might be in the lead. I am not rooting against stroud, in fact I've been rooting for him. I want both to succeed. But stroud is seeing ghosts and as of right now if I had to choose between all the qbs chosen in that draft.... Bryce would be my #1 ( but definitely not by a landslide- he still has tons to prove and 2 years to do it)
  22. Every route isn’t actually supposed to be thrown to. Think that was Caleb just being young and greedy. DJ Moore wasn’t even looking for the ball.
  23. Wonder if this was a FO move or an ownership move. I do think it's a mistake.
  24. Going college homer for the Pats is almost BigKat-esque. Especially after that cheating episode in 2003.
