Proctor and Lomu still on the board at 19? I don't think we have the luxury to pass on them after Icky's injury. Anything other than a stud LT in the 1st round if they are still there is the wrong pick. Sure, Styles will be a great pick for anyone that gets him including us. But for us, at what cost? A great defense won't mean a hill of beans if Young is constantly running for his life. Protecting Young should be our biggest priority. If Icky had not been injured then Styles, Parker or Allen would have been fine with me. In fact, with who was left I would have seriously considered taking calls to trade back 5 to 6 spots and gain draft capital.

I think he is 24 or so. Not sure what that means, but it is (in my mind) like shaving 2-3 years off the career. Kinda like when we drafted Chris Weinke. He was 48 I think

He is in interview mode. I like him, but we don't draft from Clemson--we draft So Carolina in Round 1. Its a rule. Seriously, we can grab a great edge in round 2. I think we should trade back, fill 2 needs in round 2 (I think we can find a good Edge and LB in round 2--That would be huge

I do like that NO is probably going RB. I don't know of too many mocks that don't have Love in black and gold. Atlanta will have to buy their way back into R1. The Bucs seem to need what we need, so I am nervous they end up with Styles, or if Downs falls, they swoop in.

I agree wholeheartedly. A lot of "principled" people in the WWE were willing to go ahead and do it for a price. Me, I hated it because the Royal Rumble is my flat out favorite event of the year for the WWE. And if I'm correct, the only real "surprise" entrant into either Rumble was the addition of whichever Bella twin we haven't been dealing with again for the past six months. Those gals just aren't up to the performance levels of the current women's roster.

I think Banks would be a fit, McDonald too, Hunter is a monster as well. I just can’t see this team continuing to invest in these 3 down lineman with a first round pick. Derrick Brown and Wharton have big contracts. Bobby Brown has a decent one even if we let AShawn go. At some point you have to invest in people who can sack and volume tackle. You have to have people who actually make plays.

McDonald would be interesting. Looks like a guy suited for an odd front defense and would equate to a bit more of DB as the 4T but obviously would shift inside in a 4-3 or 4-2-5 look. I'll be interested to see where the cluster of DTs sort out post-combine/pro-days. I think any of Woods/McDonald/Banks would help our D out immensely. Just depends on your cup of tea....or Evero's I suppose. I'd lean Banks given his size and length...it screams 34 NT, but Woods looks like the most well-rounded.

I don’t think that’s CM punk and it wouldn’t make much storyline sense with punk beating Breakker last month to retain the title. My guess is Logan Paul, who on Friday’s show claimed that they should make sure bron wins the match…and just happened to be sweating already when he made his rumble entrance several minutes after the attack.
