True. Buts that’s why I say I hate the pay given what you/we do with him. If you can do it….erasing a #1 WR is more valuable than erasing a fraction of the field. Opponents simply can dictate who covers their dominant players and weaker players. we pay him like his is a WR eraser. And we don’t use him as such not actually know if he could/is one

Him not traveling is on Evero. He prefers using Horn to erase a section of the field vs a player since we don’t have much talent. If our defense had the talent like he did in Denver I’m sure he would let Horn shadow a WR. Regardless Horn is having to play how his DC draws it up.

The benefit of McCord, if he’s close to the other two in ability, is the locked in, cheap contract. Zappe’s contract expires this year. Hooker’s next year. McCord costs ~$1mil per year through 2028.

As a florida grad i have hope for kyle trask. As a 3rd qb he offers alot of upside. Hopefully panthers wouldnt need him but if by sucks it up wouldnt hurt to have him on the roster i also think baily zappe would be a really good third for us. I believe trask has more upside he did well in preseason this year.
