  1. Past hour
  2. Chark will become a coach, mark my words.
  3. I cashed out of this for $267. Nothing like donating money to the books. What a boring game so far.
  4. Thought it needed it's own thread since Ole Hubert is probably on the way out.
  5. Today
  6. Just getting going myself, late night High Point "overserved me". Haha. I'm an Arsenal fan, so going to bet that game just because. I hope all the shots on goal you bet go in the goal. Haha. My nonsensical parlay for college hoops. Will have hedges and live bets through the day.
  7. Side note, imagine being 27-30 and retiring and never having to worry about money again in your life. What a great gig
  8. A late day3/FA prospect. Since we don't have a 7th rounder, we would have to take him in the 6th if we hadn't drafted a center beforehand. That's a bit steep, TBH. Otherwise, pick him up as a FA if he goes undrafted, which is very likely.
  9. Tackle, D tackle, Corner is what I hope falls to us. I really really want a 2015 Panther level d, a 2025 Seattle type d. Something that just locks other offenses up
  10. Since Morgan and company filled nearly all the gaps in the roster in FA, mocks for us have gotten even more scatter-shot. WR, OT, TE, DL, EDGE and CB, with WR and CB occurring in more mocks recently than in the past.
  11. As a lifelong UNC guy this head coaching change is long overdue. I’d like to see the next head coach have an edge to him..
  12. Life is short and an NFL career can be just a blink of the eye. Sometimes its the talent level, more often it's the immense wear and tear. I always want to feel sorry for them, but then I remember they've made a million or more if they've had a three year career at the least. Then I remember growing up working on homebuilding projects with my family and seeing carpenters or masons in their 60s, broken down, sun-beaten and worn out completely coming to work every morning. They'd never see a million dollars in their entire lives, and they were broken and hurting every morning and even more so at the end of each day.
  13. While I'm happy with us taking Tet, the trade off was missing out on Warren (who I really wanted us to draft). Warren was on a historic run for a rookie TE until Daniel Jones got hurt. You can't undo the past, so taking Sadiq because we missed out on two much better TEs last year (Loveland as well) is chasing fool's gold. If we draft Sadiq, there had better be no more OTs, DLs, EDGE, LBs, CBs or Ss left with a first round grade. Then, and only then, would I be okay drafting him.
  14. The analysts are retards. The top 5 ranked “tight ends” have almost no inline TE snaps. They are lined up in slot or the backfield every play. Half of Sadiq’s pedestrian 500 yards came from wheel routes out of the backfield. He’s not going to be able to loop around the LB like that in the NFL on a consistent basis. He’s a great athlete. I don’t think he’ll make a great NFL TE. Watch the film, wheel routes out of the backfield and straight down the seam out of the slot, zero technical TE routes. Then put his stat line against Tyler Warren and say with a straight face you are looking at 2 first round TE.
  15. They all played double the average NFL career if not more. Thielen quadrupled it.
  16. Win this one, I feel solid we lock up the metro.
  17. It shows how short the actual span of a NFL career actually is. We get caught up with the few guys that play until 40-years old, but that's an extraordinary tiny fraction of the League. What you may or may not have intentionally done there is show how we quickly move off guys like that but are stubbornly hanging onto Bryce. His new running mate, Kenny Pickett, drafted just one year earlier is already on his 4th or 5th team. Kenny isn't horrible, but he's not good enough to be a franchise QB. Some franchises get it, chalk it up as a miss and move on. Others double down on trying to make things work until the relationship completely deteriorates. *cough* Dolphins and Cardinals *cough*
  18. Winner of 7 vs 8 seed game gets 7th seed. Loser of that game plays against winner of 9 vs 10 seed game. Winner of that game (loser of 7 vs 8 against winner of 9 vs 10) gets 8th seed. So in reality if you make it to the 7 vs 8 game, it’s win and in for your team. Lose that game and you get another shot at getting in. If you have to play the 9 vs 10 game, lose once you are gone. Win the first game as a 9 vs 10 competitor and you still have to win again to get in.
  19. DJ Chark, Hayden Hurst, and Bradley Bozeman all started for the Carolina Panthers during Bryce Young’s rookie season. All 3 have announced retirement after two years. Scott Fitterer was that bad. And his #1 receiver Thielen also just retired
  20. Something along those lines if what I've heard is correct. They want him to be able to save face because of his history with the University.
  21. Trade for Mims now that the Broncos got Waddle
  22. If this situation unfolded I would trade back with a smile. Numerous great options there.
  23. Nope. It's bizarre to me how viscerally some people react to the notion that some people have actual principles.
  24. It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
