My not so well made point was I am out on 1st round WR yet again… out on 1st round TE. If we were to go offense day 1 or day 2, I don’t know if there is a C worthy of it but tossed it in there because we should probably draft one. OT, QB … and I know it won’t be QB. Defensive line. Maybe S. Maybe ILB.

Now I am not saying Sadiq is all that (I haven't researched him yet), but I'd imagine that analysts are ranking him highly for a reason. If Canales is fully on board and D-Mo wants to draft him, I'm on board. The thing is, he may be gone before we're even up (which should also make people raise an eye).

First off, we haven't been ignoring the defense. We have drafted several defensive players, but, perhaps more importantly, we have added good pieces in free agency. Secondly, the offense was still kinda bad (27th or so depending where you look at). You can't just say we can't pick an offensive guy while acknowledging that the offense wasn't good. Everything is on the table. Like I said above, it seems kind of counterproductive to say that we shouldn't draft an offensive player high unless they're at certain positions. The offense was mediocre at best. Sure, we had an uncanny knack to win some close games at opportune times, but the offense wasn't really good. To me, it makes little sense to put limitations on who/what we should draft when we need an upgrade at so many positions. What you look at is trying to get the best value--bang for your buck so to speak--and that's the way it should be. D-Mo has used FA to set up the draft in order not to be pigeonholed into anything, and that's the way that it should be.

Hubert has plenty of money. I don't hate the guy. I think he a legit good guy. This is Ron Rivera all over again for me. It's just very obvious a coaching change is needed and it audka we gottaboart ways with a good guy and I'd much rather it work out but the same issues appearing again and again year after year are clearly shouting what needs to happen. With that said, if we hire Todd Golden, that's it. I'm out. I'd greatly prefer to just keep getting disappointed by Hubert. I can at least stand to root for that.

We can't ignore defense that many years in a row. The only case for offense is OT, otherwise, go defense. Still need front 7 help and a safety

@Stumpy anther thing to keep in mind for the playoffs is rod is pretty open about the fact that he DOEST line match in the regular season at all, but he does religiously in the playoffs and as of right now until we play colorado we will have home ice advantage. One plus to scoring more is our HOME/road splits are much better this year than the past 3.

I tend to agree but at the same time i suspect the d tightens up some in the playoffs.... IE like last year were they went from hemorrhaging goals the month before to lock down in the playoffs (I dont expect it to be as dramatic this year) the biggest thing is the offense can't dry up completely.
