  1. Past hour
  2. What job did he get done? He was an albatross around the teams neck and they won despite him
  3. Does Baker count as far as playing great? Or Goff? It sounds like aside from Burrow they just needed different teams.
  4. Does his performance yesterday supposed to change someone's mind
  5. You got me brother. In the mean time I'm fine winning with a strong running game and defense.
  6. I also like the blatant hold on DB within the first couple seconds that was ignored.
  7. They asked about it and the answer was we play primary zone defense so having Horn shadow changes the whole scheme for everyone. Seattle ran this with Sherman he never switched sides. Evero has almost indirectly mentioned us not having a good enough defense yet from our pass rush to our secondary to leave players in man. So he is using Horn to take away a section of the field and making adjustments around the rest. I’m not sure I 100% agree, but it does make sense and provides a legit reason IMO.
  8. If this is a poll, I wanted Wilks and have generally supported Canales. I like the old school ball. Last three weeks have scored 13, 9 and 16. We are 2-1 lol.
  9. Oh that’s was bad like jv high school bad you have to catch that for your team
  10. Yes Byrce for all the critique he receives myself included, he's elusive and tough to get down back there. We experienced Andy last week and he was a statue and took 7 sacks. Couple Byrce ability not to take sacks and Rico ability to get positive yardage, very few negative plays, if they don't make costly turnovers it's a very good ball control offense. Green Bay only had 3 drives in the 1st half and the last one was a 2 minute drive at the end of the half, so that's how the Panthers can compete with some of the better teams.
  11. Fitz really bailed him out making that long kick tbh Canales didn’t expect LaFleur not to call a TO and it was a brilliant move by LaFleur. I didn’t even think about that possibility either. With only 1 TO left it left us in a pickle and scrambling. Instead of being able to run another play or two we basically just took an extra yard and settled for a 48 yarder
  12. We aren’t good enough to play the load management game. If he’s healthy enough to play, then he should play.
  13. We are back to planned endzone celebrations instead of just being shocked to be in there. What a time to be a Panthers Fan.
  14. I still have my doubts on the Green Bay touchdown. You can clearly see his momentum stopped well short of the ball breaking the goal line and actually goes backwards; then somehow he's able to advance the ball with both hands up in the air and at least two players on top of his lower back. Unless he's levitating, that leverage had to come from somewhere between his upper chest and his feet. I would say a knee (or two) is a good candidate.
  15. If we close the year out strong, I'd like to see Canales have a shot at Coach of the Year.
  16. He looked banged up yesterday like he gave everything he had and then some If we can’t beat the Saints with Chuba then we have no business winning that game. Rest Rico and get the team right to run the brakes off Atlanta
  17. Wonder if that is because he can cheat his safeties to the other side?
  18. Yea its kind of weird. Horn doesnt shadow and always stays on the short side of the field.
  19. The thing I notice about this? Watch Scourton. The man is going to be a beast in the NFL--no quit. He runs about 60 yards on this play. And when Love runs back across the field, he takes a great angle.
  20. Its crazy how many of the people downplaying Canales or outright bashing him for this game are the same ones who really wanted Wilks as head coach
  21. So funny see people continue to talk like Darnold isn’t one of the best QBs in the NFL for the second season in a row. Two different teams and situations, he is for real and not just a product of the system. He struggles under pressure lol what QB doesn’t? Did anyone watch Mahomes in the SB?
  22. While I was aware that Horn does not shadow WR1 I learned something interesting in the game from one of the announcers ... Horn ALWAYS plays the short side of the field. As in, he will switch sides when the ball moves from one hash tag to the other. It seems intuitive that short side of field equals easier route coverage (correct me if I'm wrong) and expanding further I wonder if Mike Jackson was put into that role would his stats improve? If Horn is such a shut down corner, why isn't he just following the biggest WR threat around the field? Is there something inherently harder about covering the short side of the field? Why make life easier for your best CB?
  23. I wonder what the true state of Chuba's calf is? I remember it being mentioned a couple of times last year that it was something they were managing then after the Cardinals game last year we put him on IR. He then reinjured it this year. That would seem to explain why he looks slower and less explosive than in years past. Chubas running style was a one cut explode through the hole type of back and it just doesn't look like he has that ability right now.
