  1. Past hour
  2. Could see Dallas. If the league dictated the Luka to La trade with the assurance of the number 1 pick
  3. Better not be for much to take on $12M cap hit to trade for a guy that just felt the need to spend a top 10 pick to replace.
  4. Reminder; Lame-lo Ball is a soft-ass bitach incapable of playing a full season.
  5. He clearly got butt hurt over the draft and asked for release. Otherwise it doesn't make sense. You bring him to camp and wait for someone to lose a few guys to injury and make sure the rookies look reasonably ready. No one can tell me Clowney didn't cry and demand his release.
  6. Yep. Mark my word, the NBA will gift the pick to SA bedside of Pop retiring. We have no shot.
  7. I think he's already been traded...( I looked a couple weeks ago, but I suck at this stuff now)
  8. I seen him in a recent Panthers video, he looked like he needed to setup his workouts... BIG TIME. He looked like a normal guy at Walmart, not an NFL player. I hate to base my feels on that and there are some TE that dad bod is fine cause of 5 pro bowls....He just needs to work and dress better, my guy had the at-home special form head to toe...... I'd never allow the Panthers to see me in slob mode..... If I was Evans coming off combine shape, Id feel great about beating him out.
  9. Must be the timing of it or something
  10. I just want him to win and not turn over the ball. I do not care if he throws for 170 yards in a 17-10 win. Just if the Panthers need a 4th quarter drive, deliver. If the game is shoot-out and 500 yards is needed, deliver. Whatever the game- rain, night, low scoring, etc etc. Just win. Just be the leader and win, while limiting TOs.
  11. I think he takes a step forward this year, but I don’t see him putting up big numbers. He’s going to split time with Tremble, so don’t expect him to get a featured TE type season.
  12. They have no clue the players responsibilities for each play, nor if a coach tells the RT- " I want you to let the DE have a free path" The the RB job is to chip him, but doesn't.... PFF -100 points for the RT on that play. Unless they have former coaches and aware of the teams weekly game plans, its a guess. Here at the huddle we guess too..... I will say they have improved over the years, at the beginning total dog water. Now, I feel they are informed and if I have no idea on a player, Ill listen to the grade without trashing it like years ago.
  13. He's officially a bust. 3 picks for a certifiable bust
  14. Should have done this last year. There really wasn't much of a point in playing him when we did last year. That being said, I hope the front office learns their lesson about drafting seriously injured players.
  15. Not to be rude/mean, I think there's a 50% chance he never takes another in-season panther snap.
  16. It will also mean that he's basically only played one season of football since HS too. Which, if he can get healthy and become the player we expected him to be, will extend his shelf life as a RB as he basically will have only played 1 season out of the last 5, so minimal wear and tear on the rest of his body if his knee can hold up.
  17. As much as I'd love to see us go 11-7 with Darling Nikki drawing in, if Janky can't go, i doubt tonight'sthat night. Either way, its gonna be a physical game, it'll probably be Jost if Janky can't go.
  18. Don't forget Rico is our RB2 for the year. He is our rental until Brooks can play (IF Brooks can play again).
  19. It's God awful, I think kalil(which was a total unseen fall and they just gave hartwig top C money), moose, Rucker, bradberry, Samuel, KK, Moton,......... that's more than I thought, maybe not God awful.....Im sure I miss a couple more too. I still feel its vastly below where it should be.... man I missed - Jenkins, minter, I don't feel foster should be here.. Marshall is the same feel....but I understand if some put him here. So that's 10(.5 for foster&marshall) out of 30, you nailed the 10% number.... I league wide its 25%-20%....so doubled what the Panthers do.... *trades that effected 2nd rounders pool.
  20. I swear Morgan didn't have 1st(#1 overall) or a 2nd rounder in this rebuild.......Then his first 2nd rounder that he gave up two 5ths for is now out for basically 2 years..... Football is not forgiving....
  21. This. They better not even think about bringing him back if they are short on TE's.
  22. MHS, You are missing Claudin Cherelus is a LB that's in the mix for the 4th spot. He's been here for 2 years and had a couple injuries. I mean he was a wavier claim and been here for evero system, just had bad luck when given a chance. Jon Rhat is the current leader mainly cause of he is the ST ace. But Id say, Cherelus has the same % to make the roster. CB has the recent wavier claim of MJ Devonshire a 2024 7th rounder. He's got the good-great combine numbers but he's small size. Still he's in the mix for backup duties, in fact all the non-UDFA are wavier claims. ______________________________________________________________ Dam shame about Clowney. I view this as a bad move. I feel clowny is well worth the 7.7, even as a backup. He played hard the whole year without help. I just feel he would have helped more than either DJ Johnson or Barno. My only cope is he's 32 and at any point his miro-knee could force him to drop off a cliff performance-wise. I wanted to keep him around at least until the trade deadline and if no chance at playoff, flip him for a anything. NFL is a meat grinder, no love for locals....
