  1. Past hour
  2. Same here. State of the art training facilities, private chef, private coaches and he... still looks 16.
  3. His stat line was 2 TOT, 1 solo. And they gave up 153yds rushing. Yeah, I was watching the right guy.
  4. Is strange all the big name refs retired in like a 2-3 year span and then it got significantly more obvious. Ed Hochuli Gene Steratore Jeff Triplett Terry McAuley Walt Anderson Walt Coleman Tony Corrente Jerome Boger Pete Morelli all left within the same 3-4 years.
  5. One thing that's always bothered me about Young is that he doesn't look like he ever touches weights. I thought for sure after we drafted him, he would go crazy in the weight room and gain some size. He should've gone from 175 to a legit 200 by now but he just doesn't seem to care.
  6. No, go back and watch the OSU Miami game. And as a football fan, you do know getting blocked completely out of the play means you don't get a chance to miss a tackle right? He is a freak athlete, but doesn't do well in sifting through blocking and stopping the run. Maybe he can get better at that. Yes I have seen him wreak havoc sideline to sideline, blitz well on passing downs, come up and tackle in coverage, but getting off blocks in the hole is a weakness. Early in the 2nd quarter he had his hands on his hips and it was downhill from there. I tuned into the game to watch him and Reese on defense.
  7. https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/sonny-styles-2026-nfl-draft-221140860.html Sonny Styles essentially never misses a tackle, missing just one on nearly 700 defensive snaps in 2025. There hasn't been a tackler this consistent and disciplined in several NFL Draft classes. basically every draft profile says the same thing
  8. Yeah man you watched someone else. Styles is an excellent tackler and only missed like 1 or 2 tackles all year. He is a freak athlete that can cover as well. He is who I desperately want but no way will he be there at 19. As to this draft there are only a handful of uber talent players (Styles, Reece for sure) so I would love to trade out of 19 if the opportunity is there. Pick up a 1rst for next year. I think its a fairly deep draft, especially on the defensive side but not a lot of "holy poo this guy is a game changer" players. And for some reason I watched a lot more college football this year than I should have.
  9. I’d like Gabe Jacas in middle rounds. Athletic 6’3” 275. Seems like he could be OLB in current system or traditional DE if we were to ever change back schemes. 2x state wrestling champ. I love having linemen w martial arts or wrestling backgrounds - they understand leverage and it shows on the field.
  10. And Dallas can have him. Something about Miami just running straight at him over and over to a victory doesn't sit well with me. It reminds me of the Minnesota vs. Dallas game last year where Minnesota ran downhill at Parsons the whole game effectively taking him out of the game. We need another ILB leader and I believe that is CJ Allen out of Georgia. I would look to take one of the Miami OLBs who were coached by a HOF OLB in Taylor at 19 and get Allen in the 2nd.
  11. I'm not going to be upset with a move down either. We need assets.
  12. Today
  13. Pavia's actually measurement was 5'9 7/8s. Bryce measured in at 5'10 1/8. They're probably the same height. Bryce's mini 'fro probably added at least 1/4".
  14. Ummmm......the preseason favorites to win the Super Bowl by odds are all in the forefront. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2025/preseason_odds.htm
  15. I think he should be our target. We have possession WRs in McMillan and Coker. We need someone with speed that can occupy safeties but also that can threaten to hit big YAC plays on screens and smoke routes the way 89 used to. I think Thompson has what we need. He is small but fast. And unlike a lot of speedsters we see, he can actually catch. He has great ball skills - something the Panthers haven’t had too much of historically.
  16. The NFL isn't scripted. It'd be impossible for it to be scripted. What DOES happen, is blatant biased and incompetent officiating. I don't know if someone is in the pocket of the refs, or if they're just idiots, but it's the worst officiated sport in all of sport.
  17. I made it about 10 minutes into the Swifty bowl before I turned it off. I think she had more camera time than the game.
  18. And they definitely need to not make it part of the HoF accomplishment list anymore.
  19. And a chip on his shoulder the size of BofA stadium.
  20. There is still 3 months until the draft (which is ludicrous). Everything will change in one month
  21. Lawrence has his money. No need for the resume padding. They need to just do away with this game.
  22. I saw some comments online prior to the AFCCG because he was a backup that started a big playoff game, like Stidham was going to. He was a guest on a couple podcasts. And was real complimentary towards Bryce. So I don’t think we are gonna get any candid recaps from him. At least as long as Bryce is in the league. Maybe never.
  23. As a reserve, that’s not a horrible idea. I am taking your word he balled out, I didn’t watch. I normally just close the door to guys with Achilles tears, but otoh they often do better the second year as it a slow process getting back to normal. Normal being relative.
  24. Oh yeah. Definitely. And it isn’t outside the realm of possibility that we just did that. With luck health wise Tet could have a long productive career. I did say ‘lite’ when looking at Smitty types. Like, Horn is fast but with a body type more like Bryce, get one with a body type more like Murray. Which would be Smitty like. Not really stocky but sturdy. Still quick as hell. What made Smitty HOF was that heart you aren’t likely to find that.
  25. Another reason I like Elliss is that he will likely be cheaper than Chanel. I would sign him, draft a guy like Styles or Allen in the 1st round. Go after a 2nd round tackle, sign a rental like Cam Robinson at LT, and then avoid Hendrickson but maybe go after a guy like Mafe or Oweh at edge. That upgrades defense significantly without breaking the bank. Then can use what is leftover for other things like C.
  26. WR is about 7th on our list of needs at best. If that scenario played out, we better be trading down with someone trying to jump the Cowboys/Steelers instead of making a luxury pick.
