  1. Past hour
  2. Just for reference regarding the Legette pick. Bryce Young's father publicly lobbied for XL to be the pick for his son.
  3. I hate when one of the receivers compliment him by saying he throws a catchable ball.. Catchable for DB's lol.
  4. Exactly. He knows what his arm talent is and ain’t
  5. Do they not count XL not getting his 2nd foot in as a drop? In a true sideline toe tap type of catch, I don't think it should be ruled a drop as that's just a difficult play to make anyways. But when he's just catching a ball in stride and takes 2 full huge steps as he's catching the ball so that his 2nd foot comes down out of bounds, to me, that should be considered a drop, as your below average college WR would have been able to get their 2nd foot down in that situation.
  6. You aren't going to make any headway. The image attached with that post amuses me considering there isn’t a player or coach that hasn't or won't get thrown under a burning bus to deflect blame from #9. If the kid was showing flashes of brilliance throughout his 31 career games that would be one thing but the majority of them are either historically awful or mid.
  7. Steve Wilkes would not be having that poo. Shoulda kept him at HC and gotten some really good young coordinators.
  8. I could argue how wrong this is from our game but yeah my mind immediately went to the Titans as well. This stat line is not correct.
  9. Fox sports tracks drops as well.
  10. when that little fuker plays a good game (and he will); I am going to cheer my azz off for him; ( because i am a panthers fan), BUT he stunk it up yesterday! no ifs, ands or buts
  11. They aren't WRs though. I think the OP is just about wide out drops
  12. most likely it's because the league doesn't think we're a team, much like the nba does with the hornets. Which we are one in the same.
  13. lol no, nuh uh, you loved this draft last year i don't wanna hear it. we got the receipts.
  14. Just an FYI, it says this at the top of the page for advanced receiving stats, so they may not be fully updated yet. "Advanced stats are updated the Wednesday following the week's games. The advanced stats shown here are updated through week 0 of the 2025 season"
  15. Nope. I like Tepper because he really does want to win. Badly. I like that he's rich and is more than willing to spend money to improve the team. I like that he didn't fire anyone when he first bought the team because he wanted to sit back and learn. I like how much he's invested and uses analytics. I like the Morgan hire. I like the Tillis hire. I like the Canales hire in which he used a private firm (for the first time) for the selection and vetting process in hiring him. I think that he gives his coaches all the rope they want but if they hang themselves he's not waiting around to watch. Tepper and Jed York, owner of the 49ers, are great comparisons. Both struggled greatly until they found the right coach/GM combo to lead the team. I hate that he was so front and center giving fans and media way too much access and photo ops. That was a huge PR mistake, not really a x's and o's error. I hate with so much passion that he hired Matt Rhule and gave him a huge 7 year contract and complete control of the team. I hate that he ok'd overpaying for Teddy 2 Gloves. I hate that he ok'd the trade for Sam Darnold. I hate that he hired Frank . I hate that paying for the best coaching staff that money could buy didn't amount to anything. I hate that he relented and ok'd Baker Mayfield who Rhule made look like complete trash in less than one game only to have Baker go to the Bucs and look great. I hate that he took so much advice from Ernie Accorsi, which, fun fact is where all the Bryce point guard stuff came from. I don't think he forced us to take Bryce but if he did I don't care as Bryce was the top rated QB in that draft by the vast majority of fans, media and other teams. Bryce was the top QB on the Texans draft card. I love Stroud and had him just ahead of Bryce as 1A and 1B. There were pro and cons for both and no really knew if either one would be successful but everyone agreed both were top prospects. Since they were both so close in potential it's more luck which one we ended up with. Bryce could just as easily been a Texan therefore it only matters in hindsight which one was the "right" choice and despite how great a rookie year Shroud had the jury is still out on both.
  16. Converting 3rd downs and keeping the offense on the field makes a big difference, especially when the defense sucks.
  17. I agree with the first two, probably would have gone with Payton Wilson over Trevin in the 3rd since we obviously are way worse off at ILB than RB
  18. Canales mentioned something about Bryce smiling more and how reassuring that is. As much as I think DC is a fraud, I think there's something to that. Bryce's footwork falls apart when things are going rough; he's the most Psychiatrists Kid QB ever. I think DC has realized that once bryce starts pouting his mechanics go out the window.
  19. High standards for everyone but the #1 pick you traded up to draft. Is it any wonder this team continues to flounder?
  20. If this keeps up, the org is going to have a big problem in that locker room. I could see one or two key guys asking for a trade.
  21. Maybe he should pull a Travis Hunter and take XLs spot on offense, I bet he would have gotten 2 feet down. Then Fox could show him 472 times on the sideline
  22. Id say week 11 or 12. If we have 2-3 wins max by that point you play hooker the last few games and then he'll play well enough to not draft a QB and then hooker will start next year and be totally ass then he'll be pulled week 11-12 and rinse and repeat. The Panthers will never be a respectable team again as long as tepper is the owner.
  23. Yeah late and under thrown. For DC to publicly say the reason he cut Renfrow from the initial 53 because of conditioning when he doesn't have his QB's footwork fixed also pisses me off now. The only reason he got the HC job was to fix Bryce yet he's reverted back to the same issues he had his rookie year
