  1. Past hour
  2. The last time the offense saw the field we were up in points in a playoff game. The defense then allowed the most humiliatingly easy scoring drive in NFL history. So... the coaching staff needs the most help tbh.
  3. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp 19 is valued at 875. 16 @ 1000 Our higher 5th round pick is @ 28.2 It would take our 3rd to really do anything with. Maybe the 4th plus a 5th. (Not really though, it only gets us to 17 ahead of Minnesota).
  4. After talking to a bunch of you it seems the overwhelming majority of y'all would like to see our first round pick use them defense because we have went offense and receiver at that two of the last 3 years. But I posed a simple question what is the reason we lost to the Rams and after free agency and all the money we've been spending which side of the ball do you think is in need of more upgrades? I don't think just because you drafted a specific position repeatedly doesn't mean you shouldn't draft that position again if it's still a weakness I think if you swing it back and you strike out and or miss you have to get up there and take another swing personally I think the offense is much worse off than the defense there's more Star power on defense than offense. Legette was a legitimately amiss and a bus so we have to just watch the thought of him out of the way we are still without a certified number two and arguably Coker could be that but I'd rather he be a number 3 and we lack a field stretching speed option and a legitimate starting tight end we don't really know what we have at RB outside of tuba so I think the offense is bigger? Than the defense which was average last season.
  5. Damn.. That's a good deal for whatever he turns out to be for us. I'm just glad they aren't going to reach for a tackle in the first round now
  6. Would jumping two spots be that costly? Maybe one of the 5th round picks or a 4th.
  7. Good luck brother, have a licensing summit most of the afternoon. Will be back for some First Four action.
  8. I didn’t even need numbers to know, but that is why I have been lobbying for a bruiser RB for two years. We need a short yardage bull. For me, what would help the offense more than a TE is that, and if can get one like Tolbert that can be a target within 5 yards either side of the LOS it would be a lot more useful. And if we can’t get a big boy that catches we still need a bull, and a pass catcher at RB.
  9. I've been critical of Dave for some of his gameday decisions but it's certainly plainly obvious to anyone with eyes his offense is significantly handcuffed by the most integral moving part within.
  10. Safety would suprise me with Ransom and Isaiah Simmons on the roster. If they can't beat out NIck Scott, that speaks volumes. If they don't go BPA, OL seems to be the biggest need with injuries that always seem to plague this position group.
  11. I read the first paragraph and thought you were about to bash Dave. Anyone with a brain can see we have a solid head coach and front office with a Bryce problem.
  12. https://www.foxsports.com/nfl/team-stats?category=downs&sort=o_4thpct&season=2025&seasonType=reg&sortOrder=desc We were also 24th in first downs and 26th in third downs despite having at one point in the season arguably the most productive RB in the league. When you actually dig into the numbers you see why Canales was going for it on fourth so often. Legitimately it was the only way he could make this Bryce Young led offense look even partially productive statistically when it was all said and done.
  13. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/kenny-pickett-says-hes-similar-to-bryce-young-and-the-right-fit-to-be-his-backup So he is saying he is also a terrible nfl qb.
  14. Ahhh touché. So if you remove half of our fourth down attempts that would put us at 76 punts which would be 3rd in the league. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/player/_/view/special/stat/punting/table/punting/sort/punts/dir/desc What a laughably putrid offense.
  15. Not concerned also not a homer, I just made peace with all of this already when they did nothing at the TDL,Didn't love the Miller trade when it happened hate it now.... hes a huge liability. Nikishin is a rookie so I cut him some slack (plus at least he offers offense to compensate) Miller outside of two games hasnt even done that 4 goals on the season Nikishin has more production in 5 less minutes of ice time per game. I'm telling you rod doesnt know what the f*ck to do when he doenst have even numbers of LHD AND RHD D.
  16. And the 4th down attempts where he wasn’t used. Jets led the league with 41 4th down attempts, we had 40.
  17. The FS/SS roles are outdated. Most teams play a lot of two high robber concepts to try and trick the offenses. I mean you can’t trot out two Laron Landry’s, but the common theme nowadays is to have two well rounded guys back there.
  18. I wouldn’t put UDFAs in the list. They are rookies and the only reason they are undrafted is because they shortened the draft. FAs are players with years of NFL experience. UDFAs are guys who almost got drafted in the last round.
  19. Another thought. They’re getting blown out in some of these last five or six games. The worst team in the league in the flames annihilated the canes. They got blown out last night. That two to one lost versus the Kraken was a blowout, even though it was only one point game. They blow late leads. If you’re not concerned, you’re just too much of a homer.
  20. Outside of rounds 1-4 we have two 5ths and a 6th. What are we trading up with? And when was the last time trading up in the first worked out spectacularly for us?
  21. It’s also clear Stank isn’t a Center. His points are way down. This isn’t a cup team. I think @Anybodyhomesaid it. They will go 500 they way to playoffs and lose the 1-2 eastern spots. Bussi made up for a lot of blue line issues when he was playing well. Now that Bus is not playing well. The blue line is being exposed more and more. They gotta figure out a way to unload Miller in the off-season he doesn’t fit this team at all. Mark my words, tulsky will be fired by Dunn if they miss the Stanley Cup with the amount of cap space and Florida to be out of the picture. One of those two will be fired. even though the canes have a great record, this is the most unsatisfied I’ve ever been with this team since the 2000 teen years. They just don’t have that killer instinct. I hope I’m proving wrong. I would love to be proven wrong, but I could see this team getting absolutely trounced in the first round and that’s it.
  22. If Thieneman is still available at 15-16, I wouldn’t mind if we traded up for him.
