If you’re going to allow Canales and Dan to pick the qb, you have to be willing to commit to them two more years. firing them next year puts us right back into this cycle where a new coach has a qb he didn’t choose. It is a perpetual cycle of problems. if you’re not willing to do that, you fire them both and let the new regime build it all from scratch

Refuses to pass on 3rd downs despite being down to the point you have to pass and take chances. Subs him out on QB sneaks. Refuses to try a Hail Mary from around the 50 down multiple scores, instead runs a little baby TE screen. Rarely schemes up deep throws. Runs more often than passes in goal to go because they don’t trust his decision making. these have all been trends for SEASONS WITH BRYCE, except for the Hail Mary screen. Again, if you have a QB that you prefer to sub out situationally, you don’t have a QB. The fact that we are at this point after so much fuging overwhelming evidence is mind blowing. He has to have paid someone off or got dirty pictures of someone, because I just can’t fuging understand.

Whatever cope I have is coping with why the hell he is still playing. He sucks. I am fed up with being civil and explaining why to people. Without calling them blind. He isn’t an NFL player and that is what I have been coping with goi g on three lousy miserable years. The sooner he is gone the better off we will all be.

It was destined to fail from the start. The longer this project continues the more damage it creates. The desperation to salvage something from that franchise crippling trade is evident. But they are oblivious to it.

I think that is totally valid. When I look at it, it looks like we have basically two coordinators independent of each other. And he does not control the defense which seems to be decreed from above. ST ahead a horrible day but overall have not really been a problem. Muffed punts yeah but not unit wide collapse like yesterday. I am goi g to put that in a burn the tape category for them Leaving offense. And the offense is being brought down by the QB. Like it usually has been the previous seasons. I totally get that despite an agreement Tepper could break the agreement finding cause but that is being set up big time to fail.

I also like how all of these people keep trying to make Bryce’s shortcomings an organizational failure. Don’t get me wrong, the organization is f*cked. But, even with Baker, Sam, and PJ, as impotent as our dysfunction made them look, they still had flashes. They still won more. They still competed in a fair amount of games. With Bryce, the vast majority of these games are over as soon as they begin. It’s him. He is THE problem. I really wish they would quit pissing away entire seasons sticking with him. Because I promise you, if Andy was playing, everyone would be posting their “well, I’ll be damned” takes. It would blow you away how suddenly solid our entire team would look with a functional NFL QB.

I totally agree with this I felt that he would fall in the draft I don't think he did as good at Colorado as they built it up to believe

When I think back to Bryce Young’s debut the biggest reaction, of many incredulous reactions, was to his lack of urgency. I remember being totally, well, shocked, I guess is the word. It was crystal clear I had no explanation or rationalization for it. He was still doing the crappy parallel to the LOS slow dropback. I think he has infected the whole team now. edit: at least the offense. I meant to say, I have become numb to it after years of it, I think, because it doesn’t look like that now it looks like what I am used to seeing on Sundays. I guarantee you, get him out of here and we get better.

That and a significantly better run organization.
