    Prediction

20+ point loss seems pretty damn inevitable here. We’re not going to score much as usual with Bryce and with no Horn the D as solid as they’ve been much of the year will get cooked by the league MVP who has an elite OL, weapons and coaching.
  4. I want a Cam at QB but I'd settle for someone that isn't statistically in the bottom third of everything. Edit: alright id not really settle until we had an elite player at that position haha
  5. I’ve got bad news for you. He’s not gonna be
  6. How does anything improve bringing Bryce back? You think he can get better? He has had three years and is pretty much below sea level with the annual Falcon bump. What is there for him to improve, that he has shown he can improve? Something he can control. What I usually hear is improve the people around him, and if that is the case I say we could do that with a better QB.
  7. I felt that he made the Panthers worse when he was here. That wasn't necessarily his fault, but you actually see SF making the exact same mistake with him that we did. They become one dimensional because they feel they have an unstoppable swiss army knife. They feed him the ball too much. The entire offense depends on him being successful (and not getting hurt). If Carolina had a minutely competent QB at the helm we would have beaten the SF by 3 scores because all they can really do is give the ball to CMC, just like we used to. The compensation we got for him was really good, and had we used that draft capital effectively to grab someone like Stroud or Daniels instead of Young, people would be looking back saying we fleeced them and got a franchise QB in exchange for an oft-injured running back.
  8. I'm not wasting my time reading this. Bryce Young is the fugging problem, full stop. No one can be assessed while we have this absolutely pathetic QB at the helm.
  9. Linebacker and edge gets my vote. bUt BrYcE dOeSn'T hAvE aNy WeApOnS will probably be the direction the team goes.
  10. EDGE above all other needs, IMO. In theory, the upcoming free agency market is pretty loaded with capable WR guys. Not star players but players that can be instantly impactful. Hopefully we can address EDGE in the draft.
  11. Bryce is going to surpass JJ Jensen in attendance, he's got another 15 or 20 years left in him unfortunately.
  12. Well we really value your input Shocker. we couldn’t know how horrible we were if you weren’t here to tell us.
  13. Panthers were the " bad" boys in 2015 and the NFL decimated the team soon after.
  14. If they do that it will be a crappy vet, not a rookie. They aren't going to draft someone to back bryce up. Unfortunately.
  15. Here's my deal. I hate the whole "Alpha" bullshit, because it has been turned into an act, a marketing ploy and a wonky set of qualifications. What I think you need as a QB for your team is the happy, smart leader that brings his teammates along rather than throwing them on his back. And they need to be a stone cold killer when they get to the field. As much as I dislike the guy, it's Brady over the Mannings. It's Montana over Marino. It's Bradshaw over Staubach. And here's the one that'll get me killed around here: It's Jake over Cam.
  16. Today
  17. Joe Burrow hasn't played for three quarters of the season and very little in the pre-season. He comes back and posts some very good numbers and leads his team to victory. That's what a #1 franchise QB should be doing, not whatever is going on here. The eye test doesn't lie. Throw out the rose colored glasses and believe what your eyes are telling you. Five more games and then a decision needs to be made on a certain players permanent status. Do what is right for the team and fiqure out how to improve that one very critical position. Please don't fug it up this time.
  18. I’m all for bringing a QB in but who? The FA list is ass. The draft class isn’t great I’d take a flier on Trey Lance and if available in 4th someone like Leavitt or Mateer? I never wanted Dalton back especially at the contract Dan gave him. He’s utterly useless on the field and his cap hit isn’t nothing. He provides nothing. There’s a lot of bad QB play this year and passing is down. Guys worth trading for are most likely not going to get traded. As much as many of you don’t want to hear it our best option is to decline the 5th year option. Give Bryce 2026 while we have him under contract. Then in 2027 either sign Bryce (tag would be an option. Don’t repeat the Darnold mistake) or draft another QB and do it all again
  19. The league did Jerry Richardson dirty. But Jerry Richardson played himself. He went out of his way at every opportunity to be as subservient to the shield as humanly possible even when the league went out of it's way to make it abundantly crystal clear that they did not want to see Cam Newton be the face of the league to the point they had the refs do their bidding. If Jerry had any backbone he would have taken the gloves off with the league after SB50. But he just took it on the chin.
  20. You need to sign of draft a legitimate starter. As long as the o line is intact they can support a rookie. Even a raw one like Sellers.
  21. We don't need "another Joe Burrow" just to field a competent passing attack. And BTW while you're busy slurping the Cowboys just remember that team and Dak lost to Bryce Young and the Panthers.
  22. Good lord give it a rest or learn ball You’re not finding another Joe burrow
  23. The QB room isn't a top priority? Well that's interesting. Without looking can anyone name the receivers Joe Burrow threw two touchdown passes to against the Ravens?
  24. WR and Edge need to be top priority this offseason. I really like the Cowboys chances if they get into the playoffs. Jerry Jones really lucked out. Quinnen, Pickens and a 1st rounder while losing Parsons is a hell of a deal Philly has Brown and Smith. Dallas has Pickens and Lamb. Rams with Adams and Puka. During a time when passing is down in the league having 2 number 1’s is important. Pass catchers and being able to generate QB pressure. We have the complete opposite. TMac and Scourton are a nice start but they need running mates. Proven running mates if we’re going to compete next year
  25. I think some fans that are counting the days until Young is gone just might be counting for a long time unfortunately. Why would Tepper pull the plug on our franchise record-setter for passing yards in a game? Why would Tepper say, "no mas," to all those thrilling game-wining drives? Why would Tepper no longer be enthralled with league-best big-time throws? I'll believe it when I see it.
