Is Tepper going to clean the house again after this season?
UnluckyforSome replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
It needs to be torn down to the foundation. It's what should have happened after the Cam/Rivera administration ended. It could be argued that was the intention with Rhule, and giving him control of the entire structure, but obviously mistakes were made at the very core of that strategy. This is year 8 of the grand rebuild, and it has been a mishmash of coaches, players, opinions, executives, strategies, voices, plans and designs, and the result has been complete slop and a total clownshow where the circus music is always playing. -
The Panthers’ Bryce Young Problem is Getting Old
Panthera onca replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have to suck it up and cut the cord here. BY is a sunk cost and that will never change. The longer we wait to start the recovery process the longer we will be in the abyss. -
yes, that's the problem...
-
Not sure how anyone can be 100% sure that Tepper will not fire someone. Even Tepper himself.
-
if we upped the hummer budget we could recruit more highsman winners
-
Canales wants that vertical ball and BY just can't do it in the realm of what Canales wants. You can beat your DB for the homerun ball and Bryce is going to turn it into a 50/50 jump ball or force the WR to the boundary. And that's if he is set. If you get Bryce on his backfoot and off set.....he can't make a ton of throws properly. it's just a really bland O you gotta pull w/ Bryce. The highlight is the quirky scramble until humans get close.

The Panthers’ Bryce Young Problem is Getting Old

Drops are also going to inevitably happen in any offense on any given gameday. I don't know when or where specifically this expectation changed for Bryce Young but as a #1 overall pick you are supposed to flash something anything even in adverse circumstances. But he is not making matters any better with his lack of arm talent. It is on tape. Defenses see this tape too. They do not respect his arm. Just watch the games. -
His presser sucked. If he's going to keep this up he needs to at least start being a little more interesting. At least be a bit vulnerable man, we're all living this dumpster fire of a QB journey with you bro! Still, I haven't written Bryce off yet. I blame a lot of last week on coaching, but he's got to show this next week. If he comes out just as flat as he did for the Jags - then I'll start worrying.
-
The recruiter is David Tepper and he doesn't seem to know what he's doing.
-
Not doing your homework for you Joe.
-
Recruiters? This isn't college. Not sure we could win there either though to be fair.

With a noodle arm. That part is every bit as limiting as his physical size, hell maybe even more so. -
Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review
KSpan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh good lord, it's Cover 1 Robber - no need to make it sound like anything revolutionary. Legette was drifting deep rather than coming straight across (bad route running by him), and the safety was already driving up when Bryce chose to throw the ball. To the Jags credit this is exactly the type of play you call robber against (see comments about them reading Canales like a book) but between the predictable call and the crappy execution by both XL and Bryce this was as much on Carolina as it was Jacksonville making a great play. -
Kick started following Coaching or Recruiting Issue???
-
Do the recruiters know how to identify talent? Coaches need to play some of the guys on the bench who may be hungry to play the game of football. When you do the same thing over and over you get the same results. Give the rookies a chance. The only thing we have to lose- Is another game. Right? Keep Pounding!!!

I'm saying Bryce sucks.

He's got one, maybe two games and that's that. -
He's totally going to get another year or two here with his own QB. 100% going to happen.

It’s already over for Bryce. After 2 years of bad football, we don’t need to see anymore. Let him pull a Clausen and play all year to give us that number 1 pick and draft an actual qb. Who would that be? Manning? The kid from Penn State. Joey Aguilar from TN/app? -
Why would he? What has Bryce done on the field to gain trust? Even if he did a great job in the off-season and through camp he has now gone out there on the field in a game that matters and looked like absolute dog poo. Again. That has happened over and over again during his brief career. How can you have trust in a guy that does that? Ultimately trust has to be earned and I can't see what Bryce has done on the field in games that matter to earn it.

More than generous. It's detached from reality. Which is what pretty much all each of these takes in defense of him have become. Fully detached from reality. -
The Panthers’ Bryce Young Problem is Getting Old
LinvilleGorge replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
To me a "drop" is a perfectly thrown ball to an open receiver, not a contested catch, not a ball that could've been caught with a Herculean effort, etc. There's a difference between a "drop" and a ball that should've been caught and a ball that maybe could've been caught. Not even Bryce's mom would've watched that game and counted 10 drops. That's just an absurd argument to make. -
Bryce by the numbers(emotionless post)
Khaki Lackey replied to KaseKlosed's topic in Carolina Panthers
All you haters will eat your crow-jangles when Bryce breaks the unseen yards and unseen touchdown records, and wins the unseen MVP. I, for one, will be there when he is inducted into the unseen hall of fame...if I can find it. -
