  2. But what about the over/under? (Kidding--but this is telling)
  3. I have been consistent on that front. High TO QB's have not been as successful in the modern NFL has previous NFL eras. Hence why I don't want to see Winston or Howell here and didn't like Darnold at all. Darnold may have evolved, still TBD IMO but those other two guys have always been pure gunslingers. They have no real value as a starter in the NFL if the goal is winning games.
  4. This may be a game of who is playing??? Luckily, the stars aren’t that good right now. It’s Nadeau time finally. LFG CANES!
  5. There is no way this is a real high ankle sprain if this is a "one week injury."
  6. Mac Jones IAY/PA(Intended Air Yards/Pass Attempt) is 7.5 Bryce Young's is 7.7. So if you want a QB that regularly targets deep passes, Mac Jones is not your guy. For reference(these stats only exist from 2018 onward) these are some notable other passers in the NFL: Josh Allen: 8.8 Lamar Jackson: 8.7 Patrick Mahomes: 7.6 Jared Goff: 7.0 CJ Stroud: 8.4 Jayden Daniels: 7.5 Drake Maye: 7.3 Anthony Richardson: 11.2 Sam Howell: 7.5 Jameis Winston: 10.1

  8. You know he probably is injured but the whole thing does seem weird. - Announcers weren’t following the injury and reporters never noticed he was being looked at on the sideline, he just walks to the locker room randomly in the 4th and the FOX team was like hey Bryce is leaving. -Was in a boot after the game. -Has not been scene limping at all during or walking to practice. -Reporters calling it a HAS, but Canales being very vague about what it actually is. He was playing kinda bad against the Jets but no more underwhelming than he usually is. I almost feel like he and Canales talked and they know Andy has a better shot against the Bills and this was some staged deal and then he will comeback next week against GB. It’s awfully similar to when he tweaked his ankle but had no visible limp and just showed up on the injury report before the Seattle game a few years ago. A lot of people speculated that Reich didn’t want him playing in a tough place like that right away and they sat him. I will be interested to see if he dresses as the emergency QB this week. They will probably elevate Hooker for show either way, but if Bryce dresses he will be the real back up this week.
  9. I think the Panthers keep it close. I predict a tie...24 to 24
  10. Bro these folks better stop playing with cam before they get hurt
  11. Sounds like there's zero urgency to desperately get him prepared to start to keep this winning streak alive lol. Strong run game and multiple sacks/turnovers by the D is the obvious reason we're at 4-3. If it was Mahomes or Allen they'd be shooting them up with so much junk and wrapping that ankle so tight just to keep them on the field.
  12. couldn’t see in the phone screen if Cam hit or slapped the guy but I figured slapped because he remained conscious lol. Anyone can make a case out of anything. The mascot will or could be getting pressure from the school to not make it a case because of the financial benefit they get from association with ESPN. And ESPN can push or bury, depending on how they feel about Cam’s future as an on air asset.
  13. This was a natural evolution from the change in making it easier and easier to pass. Defenses adjusted to force things underneath, being willing to give up the long methodical drives because there are more opportunities for mistakes by the O.
  14. It looks like we can make good decisions when we removed the mandate to pump up the offense. Yes we took McMillan instead of defense this year but that seemed more a BPA this time around. And some pretty astute calls were made as the draft transpired. Or at least at this early stage they seem to be that. You want to help out your team? You have that draft. It has looked like that all season and still does.
  15. So last year I would have disagreed. But this year, Minnesota's struggles shows he's better than I thought he was. I don't think he's elite tbh, but man, I hope he proves me wrong. Fwiw, I think he could have developed more here, he was doing well under Wilks. But, I'm not sure he's got what it takes to win a Superbowl so I don't begrudge us or Minny) moving on. Hoping he proves me wrong there too.
  16. I am by nature optimistic about acquisitions and draft picks and how the players need time to develop and grow, and have patience with most things. This Bryce thing was so egregious to me, I just couldn’t accept that they were really doing it. It was so fuging stupid that I could see it. I ain’t no scout. I am mellowing on him a little because he has shown some growth but I still don’t believe in him. He has to put the hammer down or we are so screwed. Is what it is at this point and what I do know is I am looking forward to Sunday and hoping Andy hasn’t fallen off the cliff. If he is still able to play at the level he was a couple of years ago it will be fun. One thing I should say for Bryce is that that Dallas game was the most fun game in years, and he didn’t fug it up. But I think that’s his ceiling. Looks really good against the worst D with a 200 yard rusher on his side. Lol peace
