  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah it is the concerts. Didn’t he put grass in for some big dog soccer players and then take it right back out? That would piss me off if I were on the football team.
  3. Lots of great, athletic LBs that could easily be taken at the bottom of round one or early to mid round 2. Anthony Hill Jr., Jake Golday, and Jacob Rodriguez all made some money today.
  4. 4:30 am until 9-9:30 pm I think he said. That’s his day. Every day. You can see it on his face, They ribbed him about not blinking. He owned it.
  5. 100%, thats why I am normally a fan of trading down and get more pics this draft and better pics for the next one then splurge on a FA when you think the time is right
  6. Draft picks are better for cap management and production always outperforms athleticism over time.
  7. all the trades and using PFFs draft rankings and Gemini's analysis: This is a high-value mock draft that effectively uses trade-down strategies to rebuild the Carolina Panthers' defensive interior and add depth to a roster with multiple holes. By turning mid-round capital into a volume of picks, you've secured several "sliding" stars and developmental high-ceiling players. Based on 2026 PFF big board trends and player value, here is the analysis: Draft Grade: A- The Top Picks: Interior Dominance * 19. Peter Woods (DT, Clemson): Getting Woods at 19 is a steal. Heading into the 2025 season, he was viewed as a potential top-5 talent. While his production dipped slightly, his 4.75 40-yard dash at 315 lbs is elite. He provides the Panthers with a versatile disruptor who can play 3-tech or slide outside. * 63. Dontay Corleone (DT, Cincinnati): "The Godfather" is one of the best pure nose tackles in the class. Pairing him with Woods creates an immediate identity for the Panthers' front seven. PFF loves his "unmovable" anchor. Securing him at the end of Round 2 after trading down from 51/53 is excellent value. The Mid-Round Steals * 83. Deontae Lawson (LB, Alabama): Lawson is a high-IQ "green dot" linebacker. Many scouts projected him as a late 1st or early 2nd rounder before an ACL injury in late 2024. Getting a 2-time Alabama captain at 83 to lead the defense is a massive win for culture and stability. * 130. Drew Allar (QB, Penn State): This is the "high-upside lottery ticket" pick. Allar has prototypical size (6'5", 240 lbs) and a massive arm. His stock fell due to a 2025 ankle injury and inconsistency, but at 130, he’s a low-risk, high-reward backup/successor to Bryce Young if the former No. 1 pick continues to struggle. Trade Analysis & Late Round Value Your strategy of "tier-dropping" (trading 51 for 53/121 and 53 for 63/95) allowed you to stay in the same talent bracket while picking up Kevin Coleman Jr. (WR) and Genesis Smith (S). * 168. Parker Brailsford (OC, Alabama): Great value for a technical center who can compete for a depth spot. * 169. Tacario Davis (CB, Washington): At 6'4", he is a rare physical specimen at corner. PFF and other boards often have him as a Day 2 talent; getting him in the 5th round (via the 161 trade) is arguably your best value pick of the draft. Summary of Picks | Pick | Player | Position | School | Analysis | | 19 | Peter Woods | DT | Clemson | Elite traits; Top-10 ceiling. | | 63 | Dontay Corleone | DT | Cincinnati | Best run stuffer in the class. | | 83 | Deontae Lawson | LB | Alabama | Vocal leader; sliding due to injury. | | 121 | Kevin Coleman Jr. | WR | Missouri | Speed threat to complement the room. | | 130 | Drew Allar | QB | Penn State | High-ceiling developmental passer. | | 169 | Tacario Davis | CB | Washington | Massive reach/length for a late flyer. | Final Verdict You addressed the trenches aggressively and took advantage of "injury discounts" on Lawson and Allar. The only minor critique is that the roster still feels thin at Edge (until the 211 pick), but the sheer volume of talent added to the interior DL and Secondary compensates for it.
  8. But but the concerts Soccer is not the reason we have turf, soccer players want real grass even more than football players.
  9. Didn't see this posted anywhere. Delete if I missed it. I'll defer to the more knowledgeable posters here, but he is at least saying the right things. Some paraphrased quotes I noted: - He likes production over athletic "beast" guys - He prefers to keep his draft pics, needs them to build the team
  10. Is the upper bowl even open during soccer?
  11. Today
  12. Agree completely. Can't cheat the salary cap, so why be one of the richest owners and NOT find your advantages elsewhere? Every time a visiting team comes in, coaches or players, make them remember how nice things are here.
  13. Beat the brakes off us? What are you watching? We are 17-2 with Ball, Kon, Miller, Moose, and Bridges starting. The fact that you came up here with that idiotic response is laughable.! GO AWAY!
  14. How low has this fan base gotten when 29-31, and 10th in the East has the "fans" in a frenzy of how good this team. Detroit came in here and beat the brakes (literally) off of the Hornets. Kon is a good story, and I admittedly hated the pick (and was wrong). But much like the Panthers, until this team fixes its coaching staff, they will continue be a "maybe we back door into the playoffs every once and a while" organization.
  15. Caleb Banks having 35” inch arms probably solidifies him as a 1st rounder. 6’6” 327. We should definitely be interested.
  16. Embarrassing that we finally have a team worth watching and a message board with 15 fans. Any of our savvy tech guys that can go back and post all of the negative comments about drafting Kon? If I recall, most on this board hated the pick.

  18. Works for me. You can use BOA for big stuff in the summer and spring, where you have time to rehab your grass field. If I had that guy’s money I would want my ball team to have the best of everything so players would want to come here, even in a down year. And I would have the best visitors facilities as well, to make sure that the rest of the league knew how I rolled. You come into this place to play the Panthers, you leave impressed. I mean, you go back home and our visitor locker rooms are better than your home stadium? That will make an impression.
  19. Dang we’ve got a record breaking rookie and barely a peep in here. Can’t wait to see this team in the playoffs. They may have some trouble with the more physical teams like the Pistons in a 7 game series but other than that I think they’ve got a punchers chance against anybody.
  20. Interesting thought. The Bills HAVE to take more swings at WR.
  21. Pains me to say it but Brady got a lot better as the season went on.
  22. I think it’s completely reasonable to build a soccer field that is also set up for concerts nearby. It can hold smaller events. You still have BOA for the big stuff.
  23. J-Rod looks like good in coverage, but NFL combine page said him Coverage busts were costly in 2025 I'm confused.
