  1. Past hour
  2. Flagg is most likely the ROTY but I'm just ecstatic we have one of the best two players from the draft. The young core is very nice.
  3. Also the chance that Arizona snags Kubiak or he just decides to stay. Really, that would be the best chance for Evero because I think they are zeroed in on Kubiak
  4. Yeah I agree. I believed in Sam too. Through all the turmoil and change Darnold was the only quarterback we have had with the size, physical tools and scrambling ability to be effective. (excluding Cam for obvious reasons) You could see more good than bad and he showcased enough in his decision making and ball placement to allow him to develop. We just had the wrong coaching staff and front office. Tepper and Fitz really screwed up things.
  5. I know Wilks was not the answer but for you to rate the former defensive backs coach that was handed the head coach position without an offseason or real choice of offensive play caller is really short sighted. To think any coach could have done a better job with the hand he was dealt at mid-season is quite interesting. He relied on the two stable elements we had at the time, which were a decent defense and run game

  7. Is it not common to wait with the announcement when the new HC is a DC or OC from one of the SB teams? Typically 2 days after super Bowl? So, if nothing happens within a few days, there is one clear candidate that they want and Evero stays here.
  8. Yards per attempt is what I always look at as the most important key metric Take a guess where BY ranks compared to other QBs... 32nd<---- Highlight for answer
  9. Fowler is thd only one putting any serious consideration in to Evero. Who knows.
  10. If I remember correctly, we thought Jerry Jones was going to take Brooks so we traded up to take him. I wanted Frazier, no secret there, but we also needed an edge rusher, LB, safety, CB, pretty much everything other than DB and Horn. That's why I said we could have addressed a pass catching RB in FA if that's what it was thought Bryce needed to be successful. Even if it was a 1 year contract, there's always another available the next year. Rico is a perfect example. We just had too many long term holes to fill, especially on defense, to use that pick on an injured RB. Like I said, I get the logic of why and the likely mandate from Tepper, which is an entirely different problem with an owner dictating how a GM needs to build the team, and then is that GM really qualified or just a front guy. But when you look at the rest of the team, even if Brooks was 100%, we had just too many damn holes and we had already spent a chunk of our FA cap on Hunt and Lewis, and a 1st on XL. At some point Bryce has to elevate the players around him if he's going to be the guy.
  11. They seem to be one of the deeper teams in the league already
  12. fuging love this team man, wow what a month of basketball.
  13. Hornets share the ball. Flagg just takes every shot for Dallas. Hornets needed a win like this though. I've been wondering and hoping that they could win a close game at the wire. They are growing up and I'm so happy as a fan
  14. Bridges almost screwed that up with the poor shot, made up for it with the good d at the end but he's really hit or miss. Miller and Kon take this poo seriously though, good young picks
  15. Great game! Able to overcome an explosion from Flagg. really really love this team. Need to get some bench help before the trade deadline
  16. I was cussing at every one of their PPs. Wife smacked me 'cuz there were some kids sitting in front of us. I wasn't aware Sergachev was such a dick. He really got away with some cheap shots.
  17. See I am not necessarily trying to defend it as much as to understand what led to it. I accept that people new in jobs will make mistakes. Maybe FA was better, I’d need to go and look at that. It was kind of a panic situation where they had to figure it out quick. They did the OL in FA for whatever reason. Not my favorite approach at all but I understand why they did it.
  18. I started cussing them for wasting almost 4 minutes of PP and not shooting. I made it happen.
  19. Spot on. Ehlers - 2C - Blake 2nd line would be killing with a legit 2C and Ehlers.
  20. Why does analyzing the motivations and thought process of a failed draft, and coming up with a viewpoint that is different from yours, or anyone’s, have to equal shoe shining? There is a box and it is okay to venture outside of it. Not a shoebox lol. A thinking outside the box And the box in this case is a prejudice against Fitterer and his subordinates. For one thing. Also an attitude that it was business as usual for the 2024 draft, and it really wasn’t some damned all hands on deck Chinese fire drill trying to cover Tepper’s butt. Fail at your peril. It is hard for me to understand that being an unrealistic scenario. And yeah I want Morgan to succeed but it isn’t a blank check. Let him do something like trade the 2027 1st round pick for a lightweight edge rusher… see what you hear out of me about that.
  21. I get it but it was still the wrong approach. Need a pass catching back, get one in FA. They're out there. Fill the holes that got you to a 2-15 record with starting caliber draft picks. Just about everything that has been done over the past 3 years has been to prop up Bryce and he still barely got to 3k yards. Part of why I'm still not sold on Dan. Just some really questionable at best team building strategies. The draft results this year were better, but overall, at the end of the season, I don't know that the team is really that much better from when he started. We were a 6 win team that got lucky GB couldn't score on 6 trips into the RZ and the Jets were a train wreck. 16 and 13 point offensive outputs aren't going to usually result in wins.
  22. I loved his approach to cap he'll Hurney left us with. He also called time on a couple guys who were aging out of their contract wants. That was the good. The rest, he was just an ass and nobody wanted to see shorts hiked up that high on him ever. They're shorts, not a bra. Thank God one of the twins didn't fall out for the world to see.
  23. I really wish Flacco would retire and Dalton could just sit on Cincinnati’s bench behind Burrow a couple of years and remember the old times while we find a legit back up.
  24. Let's get a real 2C and put him back on the second, he's the reason the Staal line is cooking - Carrier belongs on the Staal line
