  2. Yes. A new era requires a different approach. The Packers have been very successful doing this--it is the most important position in sports--you should ALWAYS be developing a young QB or 2.
  3. I think we’ll have a complete reset after this year. We got some good pieces in the draft this year, and next years draft is super strong. I would expect Ball, Miles etc. to be traded during the season. That would allow for us to finally build things the right way.
  4. Rico is probably gone after the next five games. He is probably happy that he can leave this inept HC and Mighty Mouse behind. You did a good job Rico and the fans will miss you.
  5. If Canales and Young keep shitting the bed in big games, then i don't want to see them in the playoffs. Enough embarrassing football on national T.V.
  6. Excuses, excuses. If a fan sitting at home can see what's going down on the field, then a highly paid NFL HC should be able to fiqure it out. He said last week in the post game locker room snippet "that I almost lost the game for you guys" because of his bone head play calling. Well he succeeded this week losing the game. Sure, Bryce was terrible and Canales isn’t any better. Two peas in a pod.
  7. Those ping pong tables need to go he does have his right hand wrapped. Regardless he is dropping too many balls. If the hand is injured, use him as a decoy and throw to someone elseb
  8. But he believes in Mighty Mouse who blew up for one game? Unqualified as a HC....or a OC? Maybe both.
  9. The Panthers are like cherry pie. A typical, no-frills dessert and it does look appealing at first. However, after a few tastes, you realize how boring, unoriginal and lame this dessert really is. After years of knowing how you really feel about this pie, you just can't stomach it anymore and wonder how you keep getting suckered into by the new decorative topping and brighter cherry filling. It's the same uninspiring product as the last time you consumed it. Sound familiar?
  10. It's really simple. Some teams are difficult to run the ball on. Some teams are easy. When we face tough run defense, the answer is not to run it more. It's not. Stop thinking that. Stop. The problem is compounded by the fact that the teams that stop the run are also pushing into the middle of the pocket, and this creates "blind Bryce" who can't get the ball out on time because he can't see, or has to move to try and find a throwing lane. If he has to move off his spot, then he can't throw anticipation timing routes. Now it's down to his improvisation, arm strength, agility, athleticism, IQ, and these are not his strengths. This is why we spent a fortune on veteran o-linemen. The main problem is Bryce's size. Another problem is that our receivers who are young and still learning. They botch pass plays, and even vets are screwing up. This adds to the dysfunction. To compound the problem we don't have the right offensive system for Bryce. WCO would be better. To make matters worse, we draw up plays that try to utilize offensive players who are cheeks. Tommy Tremble can't be our go to guy on critical plays where we need a TD. And Bryce is too dumb to back off and throw the ball away. He'll force it to Tommy between two defenders if Tommy was the #1 option on the play and Bryce is in a stressed state of mind. We need plays where TMac is the #1 option, #2 XL, #3 Cooker, #4 Rico, #5 Sanders, something like that. NOT #1 Tommy Tremble, #2 Moton, #3 Out of bounds. Furthermore, Bryce is a guy who looks super calm, but is really pooping his pants and doesn't show it outwardly. This is evidenced by how poor his decision making becomes once his is pressured a few times, or sacked. His decision making becomes horrendous most of the time, and that's fear. He's scared. What is the answer. I don't like Canales because he's not utilizing our best players and getting the most out of them. He wants to be cute and try to trick teams by going to our scrubs in critical situations. We have plenty of explosive firepower on offense with Rico and TMac, but Caales wants the ball going to Tommy Tremble. No one outside of hardcore Panthers fans even knows who Tommy is. He's a nobody who runs routes like he has CTE. Cute tricky plays are not what we need. Also there seems to be a complete disconnect between Young and Canales. They just don't mesh together at all. It's just a weird combo, like Cam and Rhule. It just doesn't work. I think Canales needs to pick a new QB, or we clean house. Pick one. No more Canales and Bryce. It's not working.
  11. Yep. Yep. Yep he is incapable of more than one read or responding if say, throw the ball to induce penalty if the defense is offsides or if the defense isn’t off the field in time to get free yards he is a deer in the headlights out there most times i have never seen such a timid nfl qb…ever I saw a clip of him coming out of the tunnel monday night and i knew it was over not running that TD in killed that game and momentum. I do not know another nfl qb that would not have seen his own blocker in front of him. Not a one
  12. well, he all but indicated that in his press conference He wanted his passing offense to ‘come alive’ however, there where so many mistakes on offense besides Bryce, per film review done by some podcasters I respect in the All 22 Young, missing reads, throwing off his back foot continuously, late with throws We are in year 3….enough receivers and Young thinking it’s one route and it was another Tet dropping critical passes…I’ll tell ya, I’m over this one. Top 10 pick, pretend you are Malik neighbors or Jefferson and catch the damned ball …and the ever so popular Legette, ballerina that he is, stepping out of bounds,,again they need a veteran receiver out there and they don’t have it…I get the concept of wanting young and the receivers to grow together but young has to grow first, and it is ending year 3 One thing about Thielen, he was always where he was supposed to be, he seldom dropped passes and he had no problem keeping his feet in bounds What these guys do in practice together, no idea

  14. If you trot Brycie out there again next year or pick up his option there will be some serious dissention among the troops. Who is going to put forth effort while getting their bodies busted up only to know we really don't have a chance at winning. They know he is terrible. I only saw 2 wins on the schedule at the beginning of the year and our record is a fluke. I'm as surprised as anybody. Trying to win with Brycie is like trying to win the Daytona 500 in a Ford Escort.
  15. Honestly, with McVay as HC and Matt having the year of his life, Williams doesn’t matter I've watched the rams a lot this year and the line gives ,Matt time, puca and davante are constantly open and if they aren’t the TEa are. McVay plus a healthy stafford equals Super Bowl if that defense can hold up
  16. Put these two answers together about game planning and imo it sounds like there’s never a true plan which is kind of the issue. It definitely looks that way a lot of times too. I feel the score dictates the play calling more than what the other defense is showing
  17. I like cmc and always have but dude went like 3 straight years being hurt the whole time, the return sucked for a player his caliber but I can’t be too upset about the trade. He’s been good with the Niners but the injuries haven’t escaped him there either and he hasn’t won a SB with them and probably won’t.
  18. That entire offense is CMC, not sustainable. I was not impressed with the 49ers at all.
  19. Side? Stuffing and gravy. pie? Definitely home made but not in good way. What this pie lacks in quality ingredients has not been made up for with expert execution. Some of the ingredients are lacking and not well mixed. The bake is fine - not raw, not over baked - and the parts are there but it is a ways away from being a good pie. At the end of the day, it’s not very good, but it is still pie, and even pie that’s not very good, that you can still gather around with friends and family is still pie worth eating and something to be thankful for
  20. Two most important people on the field are betas with zero leadership skills. I can’t wait until they’re both gone.
  21. It's a combo really. Canales and Bryce are both just not doing great. Canales choices on the run game this season has lost us games. Bryce still does a lot of bonehead stuff like not running it in for the TD. But Canales not running the ball didn't really help open things up either. Also the team just looks unprepared weekly. That's on coaching. I agree that he needs to be a HC or an OC and not both. We need a real play caller in here. I do agree, I'd like to see Canales with a QB that he feels fits his system more but even without that not running the ball is just crazy.
  22. Maybe Canales is playing 3D chess. He's trying to show to the FO why picking up Bryce's 5th year option ain't a good idea.
  23. Realistically, I would keep an eye on on O’Connell. Big and strong QB, with a powerful arm. Could be a cheap get. Looked rough in a shitty situation but started figuring it out with limited resources. I know Jones isn’t going anywhere but would be nice to get a crack at him, Lance, or Mills. Hell I would even take Trubisky or Allen (part 2).
  24. I remember his Mother was on a podcast soon after it happened and said/alluded to him being crushed when he found out he was traded.
  25. With the poo we have been trotting out as QB1 for 40 games the bar is pretty low. What are the credentials? Right now its less than 6 foot, less than 200 pounds, high school level arm strength, terrible after the first read, shoddy footwork, etc. Looking at these damn near anyone has the ability to be QB1 for us.
  26. I hope Dan and Dave are looking at options to bring in next offseason not only to challenge BY9, but have the ability to be QB1.
