So our improvement depends on how bad the rest of the division is and not how much better we are?
-
seems like 7ish. Depending how the ball bounces little more or a little less.
-
I'm thinking a 10 win season with four straight to open up with. Sweeps of the Falcons and Saints, split with the Bucs. And we'll all be amazed at what Canales has put together.
-
the Colts release was actually awesome IMO. my favorite part was the one entity breaking the Minecraft grunts/sounds.....was the Jags head coach with this cringy DUUUVAAAL at the end.

Atlanta opens at home, closes at home, and gets a home game against the garbage saints to close out the season. Panthers-yet again-open on the road, close on the road against tampa, and a garbage bye-again.

people talk about how easy the schedule is but that always sort of bunk going off last year's win/loss %. I mean, it's not brutal but who knows what it really will end up. I will say, on face value, I'd rather flip flop the home vs away games and have the road teams at home. The road schedule is against the easiest teams on the schedule, so I would rather have the homefield advantage to go with that vs given it to them.

2025 Schedule Release - post 'em when you find 'em
PanthersATL replied to PanthersATL's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Falcons video has got some pretty good jabs in there ("fresh raccoon" seems like an easy target). The chargers have already pulled their Minecraft video offline -- seems like it had some questionable content choices. Whether it was on purpose to post-then-pull for eyeballs or a complete disaster from the get-go is still TBD -

Let’s get it done and get a much needed break. -
The biggest things I look for are things like West > East travel, and short weeks. As far as those things go, we got about as favorable a draw as one could have hoped for. This is a great schedule for a young team. I still don't think were quite there yet, but this is a great year to take a big step forward. Similar to last year, more important than the record is how we get there in my opinion. I don't think we can win it all yet. 9-7 but Bryce stinks (I don't see how this is possible) is a worse result for our immediate future than 7-9 but Bryce plays well throughout.

Exactly. Please give us Drake London numbers. Right now, the last Panthers receiver to hit 9 TD's? Kelvin Benjamin. The last Panther with 1300 yards? Agent 89.
-
i think you might be overestimating the strength of the rest of the NFCS. if we win the division or come close it's going to have as much to do with the rest of the division sucking as it is with our getting better (which we will be).

XL makes a list of sophomore breakout candidates
Gapanthersfan replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Very similar, but I think Ted’s ‘football speed’ was far superior. If Ted got the ball in his hands in stride and a defender wasn’t within 5 yards… wrap. His game speed was just special. Tyreek and Vick like. I can remember the perfect bombs Cam would chuck his way, and, well, feast or famine. He would be 10 yards ahead of whoever was covering. Im not saying XL isn’t a burner, I just haven’t seen that level… yet. - Today

Hell, I'm fine with him being Drake London. 100 catches for nearly 1300 yards and 9 TDs? Yeah, sign me up for that.

Just finished the doc and it's pretty good. Nothing revealing other than getting a look into TMac's personality and his support circle. Looks like he's surrounded himself with some good friends that have his back and are genuinely happy for him in his success. Cool to see.

If Bryce plays like 2nd half Bryce from last year, 8 wins or so I'd think. Which, we could've been a 6 or 7 win team last year if we got that Bryce all year long. The defense is improved and better by default which I think is worth a win or two. We'll need some luck on our side for anything better (welp), but if this is another 4-6 win season, I'll be depressed.

I don't think you guys realize how huge having no short weeks is. No Thursday games. That's insane. Instantly makes us have one of the easiest schedules based on that alone
-
No, his comp is Drake London.
-
You guys are expecting/hyping too much for this team as usual. All it take is 1 or 2 key injuries and this team could finish with a worse record than last year. But the offseason is where dreams are made and I certainly do not want to burst your bubble before the season even starts.

i looked at this question and thought QB was going to be too much of a cop out answer. lazy. for me, Myles Garrett. that's the guy that would give us the biggest boost. maybe Micah Parsons. Both guys terrorize OLs and QBs. They both come with a a contagious attitude and presence that the others would feed off of. I would also consider an OLB like TJ Watt. but i would rather have Kuechly back in prime form over anyone else.
