Tommy Tremble and David Moore are the only pass catchers (not including RBs) who have played more than 1 NFL season. That's just scary to think about, no matter how much potential these young guys have.
-
Did Renfro have enough years to qualify? Could we resign him before the noon deadline?
-
Moore's only value is special teams and a fill in for injuries. He has the advantage of knowing the offense really well and can catch critical passes most of the time. That's hard for a bottom of the roster rookie player to beat out.

That's the easiest way to get generational wealth though? -

It's wild this man has generational wealth for being a complete fraud. -
Mike Kaye Immediate Kaye's Takes: - Kind of funny that the Vikings cut Thielen with the thought he was expensive and aging, and then turning around two years later, when he's older and still relatively expensive for a No. 3 receiver and trading for him. - #Panthers stuck to their guns and got long-term value increases. There's a huge chance Thielen is retired before that 2027 fourth-round pick hits the field. - I said this to another reporter last week that I felt like Thielen had been kind of mitigated in practice throughout the summer. I can't remember a lot of action from him in camp. - This staff routinely says it's developmentally minded: this opens a massive chunk of playing time for Coker and Horn, specifically. - This trade is why you keep David Moore, who is the de facto tutor for basically all the young WRs they've collected the past two years. - Opening up $7 million in rollover cap potential is advantageous for 2026. Getting a fourth for a fifth in 2027 makes sense because it extends value of trade and the only reason to do this is for the long-haul future, imo. - I do worry about growing pains for the offense, especially with so much riding on Young and Canales. t.co/092LSO6GTJ https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1960711487212650808?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA

Yeah, I still don't understand how he was rated #1 QB in that draft to this day. Below avg arm strength Way below avg size avg athleticism Happy feet High sack and pressure rate %'s. I mean I get that everyone makes mistakes, I was high on AR... lmfao and facepalm. But it's so egregious that it's laughable.

Ok you win
-
Thielen's age also makes him more conducive to injury, which doesn't make him the most reliable safety blanket when he's hurt. There is a WR on the team who can fill that role, though. And if all these picks on Young and these first-round WRs still can't get it done, hey, maybe there's a whole new nucleus.

Coker made some plays that gives me hope that he can be that clutch receiver. It was a huge gamble if you ask me. You are depending on rookies and 2nd year players to step up. Moore's the only multi-year veteran and he's at the bottom of the pecking order.
-
That’s also how you end up with a closet full of TY beanies.
-
Flipped the upcoming 7th to a 5th and the following draft's 5th to a 4th at the expense of a 35yr old veteran on the last year of his deal. Win-win for all parties. Hoping they bring Renfrow back now that there's room!
-
We are doing 5 wins again this year or less
-
I mean not for nothing but this is literally what we drafted him for. He was already supposed to be ahead of the curve in this area. Guy was regularly billed as a smaller Peyton Manning in terms of his football IQ before the draft.
-
Its impossible to take you seriously
-
Well if Bryce tanks this year because Thielen isn’t helping him then the trade is even better than I thought because that means we are replacing Bryce in the 2026 draft instead of the 2027 draft.
-
There's only maybe 5 wr that would net a 2nd or higher in a trade in the NFL. Another handful that would net a 3rd.

Not surprised Fat Fhule would do something that moronic... Dude relied on bossing his players around and hoping they would listen to him in college - that crap doesn't work in the NFL -
They managed to unload his contract and that's a win in itself. The pick swaps are miniscule in value to either side. How it effects the offense is yet to be seen. My only concern is that he had the surest hands of all the receivers on the team. That's not easy to replace.
-
This is exactly how it should be looked at.
-
I was hoping we could keep him to mentor the young guys at least until the trade deadline. Still, getting some draft capital for a guy that’s gonna be gone in a year isn’t terrible.
-
He's going to take time. This trade gives Coker a big time chance to shine. If XL doesn't work out, that gives the Panthers Tmac, Coker and Horn Jr for 2026. If XL does workout, they hope they have a really good returner and backup slot wr.
-
That was my point

Hope there was some fuel stabilizer rubbed on those joints.
