Right now there are three west coast NFC teams in a 1-2 game window of winning the division or out of the playoffs. San Fran know this and are very unlikely to not give their best effort. That is a good point there. We are getting what a lot of us felt was the minimum reasonable expectation. That we play competitively and we get some meaningful games in December. We may not be quite into being relevant in December but have a chance to be. And I say reasonable expectations as the bar for the franchise on a yearly basis. Not specifically this year, but all years.

But see, that's the difference between Pep and Steve, not to say Pep wouldn't win in a street fight. Even listening to this interview in current day. Steve seems ready to take on, anybody, anywhere, at any time. Where Pep seemed like a gentle giant. The guys in that room were all solid hard nose defensive players, and basically almost cowered to Steve in that interview (no judgement there, who wants to fight when you're rich and mid 40s). He's just got some dark things that the typical man doesn't have inside and he talks about it a bit. But as someone said before...that's what made him 89 on that field.

Mitchell evans needs to be a bigger part of this offense. sure hands, good blocker, solid route runner, safety valve that bryce trusts. literally the whole package for a tight end.

You seem to be missing some stats. You state that in the past 10 years only 18% of 1st rounders become franchise QBs. We need to know how many QBs have been drafted in the next 6 rounds and what percentage of those have become franchise QBs?

PFF grades aren't based on total stats. In their simplest form they are based on a player's ratio of good snaps to bad snaps. Evens is playing in about a third of the snaps. The team is using him in a limited role playing to his strengths.

IF they had 64 analyst that would be 2 per team. One could take offense; one could take defense. Roughly 100-150 plays a game, let's call it 140 that would be 70 plays each. Coach's film has no downtime between plays so to watch 70 plays would take about 10 minutes. Even if you watched each play 11 times to focus on each player thats 110 minutes, less than two hours. That leaves 22 more hours to really take your time. Seems very doable.

Honestly it should warm the hearts of ALL Panthers fans knowing the Saints and Falcons organizations are just as big of poo shows as the Panthers (maybe even more)
