  1. Past hour
  2. 100% never, NEVER use the GameDay thread. After years of being active here, I didn't make to halftime. Pure toxic cancer lives in huddle GameDay threads. Honestly Twatter and bragbook are worst, but I know better than look into the devils starfish...... Brother its like this after some wins- "Well if not for that luck run where the refs missed a hold, Panthers would have lost!!!! This team got a fraud win , they fuging blow balls!!!"
  3. Agreed. What is there to be positive about except I am positive we suck. Again
  4. No that one they didn't call a catch even though it was.
  5. Or forgot. https://youtu.be/6WzUkn9GN8g?si=kBgCEhA5OTsVeb-O
  6. No fluff, no crap, cutting right to it: Someone can be an upstanding dude, want to do all the right things, have the mental traits, but if you can't perform, none of it matters. And he isn't performing up to the standards of a starting QB. He had like 60 yards at halftime. My one expectation was to not look dead/lethargic. Expectations were super low. I.E. - Don't look like the Clausen era and Bryce year 1 where we couldn't even sustain a 1:50 minute drive more than 3 downs and a punt. All I was looking for was like 2 TDs, F*ck, not even a win. When he played "well" last season, he was bailed out with dropped INTs and we also featured a huge amount of empty sets to handicap him. He still had his ridiculous mechanics and flippant pocket presence. None of that has changed. You simply can't do enough with him to create a diverse, movable offense, so defense's jobs are super easy. The Jags didn't even play us that tough. We couldn't execute simple concepts as an offense, and our playbook is incredibly restricted due to his abilities. I'm at the end. I'll let him pleasantly surprise me and make me look like a fool. I won't be relentless in my disinterest. I'm just out.
  7. Week 1 Ravens @ Bills Let's all chill and watch real NFL teams play! Need a bandwagon to ride? Either of these squads are a good choice.
  8. I can't believe it is so bad in here you are yearnin' for a Hurnin'.
  9. XL certainly isn't looking good, but TMac was exciting. It's his FIRST game. I feel y'all are being way too harsh right now.
  10. That’s the toughest part. Only the most optimistic think we have good talent. We have Brown, Horn, Hunt and Hubbard that I could legitimately say are top 5-10 at their positions. Just based on math, each team should have 7 top 10 guys and that’s not even considering that a top 10 QB is worth 5+ times as much as a top 10 LB, S or RB. We need a poo ton more.
  11. I've seen people bring up the "7 yards per carry" a few times already, and while a little bit true (and also a little false), it's also a tad disingenuous Because they didn't average 7 ypc, they averaged 6.3, which is 10% less. And if you remove the 71 yarder that Etienne broke off, they only averaged 4.1 ypc the rest of the game. I'm not saying we were great, and you can't just pick and choose plays to remove from stats to fit a narrative. But our rush defense was nowhere near as bad as saying "they averaged 7 yards per carry" seems to insinuate.
  12. I have been a fan a long time. I know how bad we can be. I feel like this wasn't even that bad. Y'all got me thinkin' I am delusional.
  13. Who knows maybe try this- Inactive him for a game or two. I want to do that with Wallace next week.....
  14. Probably a rule worthy of adopting. This is rough.
  15. did he giggle to his teammates like he did on that 3rd and 10 in the first where he got destroyed and missed a wide open sanders? i'm so glad everyone is just enjoying making generational wealth while being worse than a college team
  16. Taking it to the Lions in the coldest game in the history of BOA was the literal high point of the Tepper era. We had an identity, and it was that we're going to line up and run the ball down your throat. It was nothing fancy but the team clearly loved Steve Wilks and played hard for him.
  17. In all fairness. He would be good in Philly because they actually have a good owner.
  18. Yeah btj got shoved midair right on the sideline and still got his foot down. XL blows
  19. As insane as it sounds..... they have been so awful at everything that legitimately even with the clown show that happens here we make better choices.
  20. They need Coker back. Easiest solution IMO is to put Coker on the outside and view XL like a Laviska Shenault type WR. Which means he is an athlete and not a very good WR…that you can scheme up some plays for and maybe rotate him into the slot for them. And you would get his run blocking inside over Renfrow on occasion as well. Bryce Young just flat isn’t going to be a good fit for XL. He makes throw and catch challenging. Even when things are running “well” it’s a lot of tough catches and often touch catches to the sidelines where it extra hard.
  21. He ain’t a leader. He forced to be one and that isn’t him.
  22. The falcons game last year looks to have fooled me but I’m out. when this dude plays bad, he just looks like he doesn’t belong in the nfl, the same damn issues arise everytime, one turnover seems to tank his confidence, the amount of low passing yards he’s produce in his starts is clear evidence. bigger issues is me behind my virtual keyboard could see that, yet our front office decided not to bring in any real comp at qb this offseason or any season for that matter.
