  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t think XL’s problem are his feet, it’s the mental side of his game that holds him back. Until he figures out how to be more mentally aware on the field and react accordingly, he’ll never become a useful player at this level.
  3. That tells me OTs are gonna get drafted high. Theres a good crop of them though.
  4. Ocho's feet were amazing hopefully he can teach the big fella something
  5. Well done, MHS. I'm out in Seahawk country and they've been a fun team to watch. Hired their coach the same year as us, but went defensive minded. Fumbled the OC in year 1 but came back with a helluva hire this past year. I basically want us to find our versions of Ernest Jones IV, Byron Murphy II and Emmanwori. DB is our Leonard Williams, but he needs a partner. I think Lloyd in FA can be our Jones and I don't know where to begin with Emmanwori as he and Hamilton are 1 of 1. I also like the way they use a lot of 13 personnel and just grind teams into the ground on both sides of the ball. Give me Otton to add to our TE room who I'd have to think Canales and Idzik have an eye for. Center and OT are our biggest question marks. I think R1 is OT and grab the best center on day 2.

  7. @tukafan21my brother, take a deep breath and enjoy your victory lap. No need to debate. As Gordon Lightfoot once said, walk away like a movie star.
  8. In the end you call plays for your personnel, and both T-Mac and Coker will be better players next year than they were this year. This year we had two RBs coming off 1k yard seasons, next year we'll have none and two very promising young WRs, there is no world where we aren't throwing it more, even with Bryce's noodle for an arm. Coker is a nice player with a solid upside, but it's nothing close to T-Mac's current ability and his own future upside. Bottom line is Coker will see a significant increase in targets and production, but none of it will come at the expense of the better player with the higher upside as he'll also get an increase of his own.
  9. Today
  10. I agree with most of what you say. I do think they throw it more ( although Canales will never be an aggressive play caller ) and that will benefit everyone. It's a great debate to be having and it's even better to finally be in a position to even be able to have these questions. I really think next year is the year when everything finally starts coming together.
  11. If we could bring him back solely in a capacity to pick his brain once a year for his first round draft pick input and absolutely nothing else I would do that.
  12. XL has faults, but Ive heard him being lazy or not putting in the time/work. Big year for him, if I was helping him, Id call Ricky Proehl and beg him to help. Proehlific Park is in Greensboro, not that far and tell XL not to leave until he's ready.
  13. Chad Johnson is one of very few former WR's in his age group with the resume he has who is actually utilizing his time as an ambassador for the position. Kudos to him.
  14. I didn't want to draft Luke given many clear reasons. RR at least knew how to grade ILBs, he called Luke the best college LB he's seen. Herniay was maybe the best 1st picker in NFL. Rounds 2-7 and Free agency, he was one of the worst. He let emotions enter with the Jake resigning and overpayed countless players Charles Johnson, Dwill, Jstew, Anderson, etc. He never build a deep team, just nailed on 92% of those 1st rounders.
  15. Olympic hockey refs are not a lot worse than NHL refs.
  16. Nice to see an amazing former receiver offer to take on two youngsters on the brink of WR Siberia. By the same token, I'm also at my limit of the offseason IG reels of these guys stopping/stuttering and shifting against air making me think that this equates to success. At least XL is making an effort....let's see where it goes.
  17. I thought they would make him wait. Some bad things have happened (recently) and Ive been in contact with a duke Brain surgeon..... I myself have played football into a college try-out and thought if I had a son, he could do the same. I changed my mind. I don't see how more players don't have more brain related trama. It's down right scary learning more about the brain trama. Its not worth the millions or the fame. I didn't get luke walking early either, now I do. I feel you almost need a genetic mutation to play football without making your ruining your only brain ...
  18. As bad as Hurney was at least he drafted Luke Kuechly. A big chunk of the huddle didn't want LB in round 1. A big chunk of the huddle didn't want Cam Newton either. Just be thankful we even got a glimpse of such talent. Sure as hell never got anything like that with Scott Fitterer.
  19. Yeah and for that reason the bar is nonexistent. I think unless we completely revert to another sub 5 win season we are staring down the barrel of a Bryce Young contract extension. Just something everyone should go ahead and prepare for.
  20. I called Tmac as well, vastly early and let tuka drive the spaceship. Think about this Panthers group without him....Id say WR would be the top need.
  21. One of the biggest problems the Hornets have had over the last several years has been too many guys playing selfish hero ball and taking bad shots. That's why we've had so many changes up and down the roster especially the bench which has been at times just flatly awful. Sexton was a very likeable player but he was available for a reason and he was not going to be a part of our future plans anyways. Here's to hoping Coby White can be that guy.
  22. Bored and tired for a different mock. hate that they still have viking 7th pick.
