Christensen is starting this week
-
My point is that there are 32 head coaches, all of which in the same high pressure job. But none of the other coaches look like they are as stressed out and defeated as the coaches under Tepper. These guys look like they are in the last week of BUDS at a certain point.
-
Yep, total poo show, aka Tepper's Panthers in a nutshell. This is one of those situations where Tepper SHOULD get involved as an owner. Not in the draft room. Not in weekly haze fests disguised as "meetings". But when you have two subordinates publicly squabbling seemingly over who has final say over the depth chart, you should step in and sit them down and make it very clear who has that authority. Either hey Dave, like we discussed Evero had final say over his unit or hey Ejiro, Dave is the HC and final depth chart say is his. We clear here? Good. I don't want to hear anymore bullshit about you two going at each other about this in the press. That makes us all look like fuging jackasses and we're doing a good enough job of that without giving them extra ammo.

I would have Eric Kendricks in there TODAY.
-
It looks like Morgan signed Deejay Dallas to keep him around. Arizona already lost James Conner and Trey Benson is injured now. Dallas played for the Cardinals last year.
-
Oh look, another player that will see the field before Brady Christensen.
-
I think DTR is available
-
lol this was a joke lineup mostly...but it wasn't too bad actually...other than mconkey. dang I should have actually played this one
-
Lol not at all. Then why isn't DC just asking Tepper rather than whining in public? It's such a pooshow
-
I would like to add that Bo Nix and Big Ben went to very strong organizations, with veteran head coaches. That will always help. So, bringing a rookie QB to Charlotte with an unimpressive HC and very little proven talent is a recipe for disaster.

I thought KB was out on Bryce
-
Not sure if we've brought any LBs in for workouts but it's hard to believe that there aren't some guys on couches or practice squads better than some of the guys we have on the active roster.
-
I'm pretty sure he already knows. The calls for his benching are defining. Only his play will save or sink him and it's game to game. One more bad stinker performance and he's out of leash or rope if you prefer. Basically, his last game sealed his fate as a dead man walking. Only he determines if its a long walk or a short walk to the gallows.

Like rearranging the trash in your trash can
-
And in a bad way.
-
Based on history I think this would push Bryce to play even more poorly as he doesn’t play well under pressure.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....

The Panthers are exhausting -
We blew it by paying that price to move into it. I would picked CJ of the two every time but I don’t think I felt like he was worth that price either. I hate trading future 1sts I just hate it, so that was never going to be okay with me. You can’t judge from one game but Giants took Dart at 25 and he won his first start - against a 3-0 team. Yeah WC team 1pm game in NYC is a huge disadvantage but I doubt people expected that. Yeah to your point I would rather take someone that you can sit until you think they are ready. They can be found.

Agreed. IMO it's the Rhule effect and obsession with RAS, or even its predecessor, the 'Al Davis obsession with speed'. It's a college-type approach that leads to a ton of misses. Hurney did some of it too but seemed to be more along the lines of thinking guys could easily switch positions.
-
Also Corbetts MCL is a 6-8 week injury. The 8 week mark would be Week 10 vs New Orleans on November 9th but probably later considering conditioning, etc.
-
Something gotta give soon. Can't keep trying to make an example out of others while whistling along ignoring the elephant in the room.
-
It sure seemed like Tepper pretty much told Canales that Evero was going to be his DC so I mean, he's basically Tepper's guy. Whether it was explicitly laid out as such or whether Canales just feels like I can't step on Tepper's guy's toes I have no idea. But it sure looks like a broken working relationship. I mean, at least being on the same page as the HC with personnel on the field seems like an improvement. It's not like I'm concerned about losing Evero's brilliant plays calling. LOL
-
I think they need to bring Hendon Hooker up from the practice squad. Not saying start now, but they need to get him ready and maybe light a fire under Bryce. Bryce needs to know how thin his margin is right now.
