  3. Haha One thing I know is that I'm not one to complain in retrospect much, only when it's super damn obvious. That draft was soooo damn obvious. So f*cking clear what we needed to do. And it was hard to stomach for a lot of us. I was not a Legette fan, just had to accept it and hope he was aight. It was just like Mingo. A guy most consensus had late 2nd/early 3rd at best. If anything, Legette was a bigger reach than Mingo. And we all felt it for some time after that draft. It didn't feel good. If anyone goes back, I was a Frazier, Sainristil, Pearsall, and Kneeland fan. Could've gone BPA at so many critical spots rather than a cheerleading "fun" local interview. I'll never forget an Athletic Pod with Brugler breaking down Legette. He mentioned how he had spoke with a lot of teams and most of the league had him highest, a 3rd rounder. There was one or two teams that had him much higher than others. Voila.
  4. I didn't say SB contender. Far from it. The D is quietly every bit as bad as the offense. The head coach is responsible for more than just the offense.
  5. As far as the Mays needing to start because of the snap issue….it probably would just be better to not have your C snapping literally every ball as the play clock dances between 1 and 0. I’m sure a lot of those high snaps were just largely tied to desperately trying to avoid taking a penalty. Which isn’t so much a C issue but an offensive operational issue.
  6. Relax and keep your seatbelts fastened. The plane will be crashing shortly.
  7. I mean this has been clear as day for awhile to be honest, I know he had the good play towards the end last year but there’s far too many games where he is struggling and that’s being nice, to pass for over 100 yards. In the modern nfl that’s just unacceptable period, not a winning recipe in any shape or form
  8. Disagree. Explain to me how Canales calling (or not calling) plays changes that this team is void of talent and management. Whether Canales is voicing the calls into huddles, or standing by as a listener, has literally zero impact on this team being good. If you think Canales passing a headset to another person makes us a Superbowl contender, good luck with that model.
  9. Seemed like the running plays he dialed up last season worked well. Hubbard balled out. Our offensive issues strictly stem from the passing game. Sorry but it is really hard to evaluate Canales and his play calling when the QB running the offense makes terrible decisions and has a career passing average of 175 yards per game.
  10. Bingo. At the end of the day, teams aren't afraid of Bryce beating them deep. They're treating the entire field as if it's the redzone. I doubt this play was about them preparing for that specific concept as much as it was simply about not fearing Bryce burning them deep. When DBs aren't worried about getting burned they can play really aggressively.
  11. I'm actually excited about the season. I'm going to easily make $100k fading the Panthers through my bookie.
  12. This shouldn't require explanation. Active vs. passive.
  13. Remember, Dave Canales said other people need his preseason playcalling work lol. Yeah, he is a good looking Matt Rhule at this point
  14. McShay loves this kid. I've already looked at some of his tape. He's got all the tools, but not elite...yet. One thing he has you can't coach is size. He's still young and developing. Indiana has a tall order in the Big 10 this season, so there should be a lot of tape on him in the coming months against some really good teams.
  15. What's the difference between him calling the plays or listening to the plays being called, which are (or should be) dictated by him before the game starts anyways. You guys are confusing talent with management. We suck at both unfortunately.
  16. My guy. Someone already posted a breakdown with a NFL QB that likes Bryce echoing exactly what I said. He only had pressure because he was late…..and he couldn’t get it out there late because he can’t throw off his back foot well with this weak arm. so I got a NFL QB that backs me. Who you got backing your take?
  17. My guy. The league is slammed full of guys that can make those basic catches. My guy, Bryce has proven he can’t make those throws well. You have SEVERAL examples Sunday alone. * BY’s deep ball placement wasn’t good at Bama and that been talked about for years here at this point. It’s a big problem in the NFL…..because there isn’t 10 yards of separation and NFL guys are only NFL open. Not Bama open.
  18. I said that teams will watch the end of season film from last year and catch on to the 'adjustments' that Bryce made in the second half of the season last year. Rolling out to his right was a big part of it. Seems the Jags noticed this in film study.
  19. Canalas may be an amazing coach no one can tell with him forced to play the byoung qb card. He has to only call plays bryce can maybe throw so its probanly like 10%of his plays
  20. If he does all of that and still starts Bryce, none of these moves matter.
  21. I really think any byoung supporters left are just trolling. U cant watch him play and think he is nfl quality he just doesnt have the physical tools
  22. Today
  23. Yeah, I'm kinda the same thinking... we have had multiple coordinators deal with Bryce and all are handicapped by his limited skills etc. When Andy played that 1 Seattle game, it showed a glimpse of a true attacking offense. Unfortunately Andy is a backup. It's time to find OUR QB.
  24. So sad but true. I was amazed how he got up from that duck ball and big hit.
  25. If I was Canales, I'd bench him for sure and promote Hooker to the roster to be the backup QB. Yes carrying three QB's but we all know Bryce is done for the Panthers and is going to be cut after this year. So might as well go ahead and get it started.
  26. Exactly. He is in over his head right now. Let alone having a Bryce Young to scheme for is a fulltime job in itself.
  27. Also just for comparison sake. Here's what the Panthers spent on the OL for 2015 the year Cam Newton nearly went undefeated with Ted Ginn Jr as his #1 WR. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/position/offensive-line/_/year/2015/table/active/sort/cap_total
