  1. Past hour
  2. Are you kidding? Geno Smith isn't the answer. i would say there might be one or two backups in the league that could possibly step-in and be better than Young. I've mentioned Sam Howell but that's about it. You want Canales to QB whisper a Trey Lance or someone else. Maybe but that QB is NOT going to come in and replace BY right away.
  3. Tampa's next 4 games are against the Pats, Bills, Rams and Cardinals. It's very likely that they could lose 2 or 3 games through that stretch. If we can win the next 2 games versus the Saints and Falcons and split between the 49ers and Rams, we will have a real shot at winning this division.
  4. I understood. Again, give me Joe Burrow all day, every day and twice on Sunday over Bryce Young. Because when Burrow is ready to roll they are worlds apart. Joe Burrow elevates everyone around him and is a legit stud QB. Bryce Young ain’t winning games. Rico Dowdle and the Panthers have won multiple games in sort of anomaly fashion repeatedly in spite of having a backup caliber QB. In no scenario would I pick a backup caliber QB over Joe Burrow. I can just play a backup when Joe can’t go
  5. I think we can agree that Bryce is up at the top in terms of NAVIGATING the offense. Ive seen time and time again he understands where the play and the ball NEEDS to go. It's his physical limitations that put him in a bind. If you could put his head on a guy with good arm strength and touch you'd have a consistent pro bowler. But we've got what we've got.
  6. You keep on acting like the police if it makes you feel better bub. We'll be right here like we always have.
  7. It's the fickle ones who always have the most to say about what they think a fan should or shouldn't be. Comical.
  8. A guy who can run play action well, with Rico, could slow down that pass rush.
  9. Logan Wilson traded to Cowboys... Cowboy fans thought it was gonna be Chubb or Hendrickson lol
  10. I wouldn't mind trying him a free safety. He was a good zone corner... good at read n react
  11. Trade Bryce to Washington for a small random and rape in the draft for a 26' playoff push
  12. I wouldn’t want to see us give a third away in an in season deal for a player we have to pay good money to on top of the pick. Like, really would not like it.
  13. Any chance asanti Samuel jr wants to come here? I know he played really well his first few years in the league but may have been ass lately. He's coming off a broken back but would he be an upgrade over Mike Jack? Wouldn't have to trade for him
  14. Looking at the way this team operates and surveying who is available... I think these names will be talked about adding... Von Miller(connection with Evero) low compensation and vet leadership Bradley Chubb(same as above) if compensation is around a 3rd I think 1 of these guys have a high chance to be a Panther by 4pm. Both have 4 sacks on the year btw
  15. Lol that always got me started. It was such a bad rationalization by Gettleman. Made no sense. Right up there with the Bryce is Brees comps for me, for absurdity.
  16. That’s fair. But the level of likelihood that this is a possible reality is low until it isn’t. Just checking is not negotiating. You want a thread every time a rumor gets floated? Do we have a trade deadline thread?
  17. This doesn't seem like a bad source. DM has said he's going to be in on every deal, whether he actually pulls the trigger is the only question. In the draft he had an offer from the Rams for T-Mac but they did not want to give Dan what he wanted. The price was definitely in our favor. I don't see why some many people are getting their panties in wad over the possibility that we trade for a position of need. Pick up a player that is under contract for next season. If you give up a 4th or 5th round pick for a starter, that's not giving up draft capital that's building a solid team. That's addressing a position we don't have to necessarily address in the draft or free agency. What I find funny is the Bryce haters would rather pick up a QB to replace a QB that has won his last 4 games. Yeah, I know he doesn't throw deep very often. That's not our identity. We want to control the ball and keep those high-powered offenses off the field. They can't score if they don't have the ball. If we don't shoot ourselves in the foot with penalties, we actually do a pretty good job of controlling the ball. Bottom line If there is a player of need and he's on the market. IMO it's Dan's job to kick the tires on EVERY position we need.
  18. The same way they kept drafting tall receivers to cover Cam overthrowing the ball?
  19. I don’t think Bryce is dumb or doesn’t know the QB position, I just don’t think he has the physical tools needed to be a great QB. Maybe if he can learn to move around in the pocket to give himself throwing lanes he can improve, but throwing 102 yards in a game isn’t going to cut it against many teams. He just doesn’t seem to have any arm strength.
  20. I wasn’t aware we had offensive line issues.
  21. Yes it's the lines fault. Always an excuse. Its never on baby boy Bryce
  22. Blind hate? Thats where we are now. Midget throws for 100 yards and now it's blind hate.
  23. Today
  24. Pie, you did that without calling anyone a simpleton, a hater, a casual, etc.
  25. Yeah, the guy who made a thread at the beginning of the year bragging about betting against the Panthers in every game is going to be the fan police now
