The first 6 games of the season had TMac with 0 NFL experience and XL with his 54% catch rate as the number 1 and 2 receivers. They combined for 46/82 catches (56.1%), 539 yards (11.72 yds /rec ) and Young had 11 TDs and 8 TOs. The last 6 games had a more experienced TMac and Coker as the number 1 and 2 receivers and they combined for 49/69 catches (71 %), 732 yards (14.94 yds/rec) and Young had 11 TD’s and only 3 TO’s. Some people around here believe a QBs’ performance works in a vacuum. It doesn’t. No doubt a lot of Young’s inconsistencies are his own fault but he has shown improvement since Coker returned and started getting more playing time. That with the fact TMac will have an entire year of experience means there should be a lot more games like Saturdays’ next year.

Wild Card QB Performance Rankings
CarolinaRideorDie replied to thebdawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
These stats don't mean anything. It doesn't correlate to winning the actual football game at all. Bryce played better than Caleb Williams according to stats but Willams won. Jordan Love played better than Bryce but lost. Everyone is so focused that one player makes the whole team. Yes the QB is the most important position, but there are 21 other guys who influence the game too. -
I know... I'm curious what exactly the OP thinks this means. He had a decent game, as did a number of quarterbacks. Not all of them won their games, heh. Ultimately his season was pretty bad lol
-
you mean wide, wide open. some of those guys were open by 6 yards.
-
Are we including their contracts? Haha. If so I'd add Lawrence and maaaaaybe Herbert to the list I wouldn't trade for (I'd probably still take Herbert lol). I was happy with Bryce's performance and all but the op seems to think we should read more into it than I think we need to.

Tbe started following Rams vs Panthers: QB School
-
For reference here's Bryce's passer rating for the season and the peers amongst him in comparison. Not great company. It certainly lines up with what I've seen with my own two eyes.
-
Saints game was merely a small side note. There is NO defending how Evero played the end of that Rams game. We picked the worst outcome. You don't play that far off when they have 3 timeouts and 2:20 left. You play aggressive and hope for a turnover/sack or quickly get burnt over the top, which still allows us PLENTY of time to win the game ourselves. You ain't preachin to nobody, I fuggin despise Bryce Young's sorry ass, that has nothing to do with Evero playing pussy ball to end a playoff game.

Your 2025 NFC South Champs. Carolina Panthers
ECUPantherFan replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't care what anyone says. It feels great to be NFC South Champs again. The playoff game gave me lots of hope for next year. TMac & Coker, Horn & Jackson... big D Brown finding the love of football again. I think we're back. -
Your Feelings on Bryce Through 3 Seasons? (POLL)
DeAngelo Beason replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
There's no emotion involved at all. We all, quite literally, watched these events unfold on the field. Two games were 30 point blowouts. The point differential is an extremely misleading measure. Your logic evaporates when you say the team isn't ready to be a contender, yet literally was highly competitive against, and in some cases better than the best teams in the league. You WILL see that this team, no matter what pieces are added in the offseason, will continue to underperform with Bryce Young (barring significant improvement and consistency) at QB. The easiest way to look at it... It's utterly delusional to suggest that if we had someone like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson at QB that we wouldn't have been demolishing our competition throughout the season. -
Total QBR has a “clutch” adjustment that ESPN won’t give specifics on Should tell you everything you need to know
-
In a word, yes, if that's the way you look at it. Any time you start adjusting based on opponents, things get even murkier.
-
I'd think most rational fans are happy with his playoff performance. Most just want to see him have consistency and his lows not be so low throughout the regular season.
-
He had a good game. But one every few isn't enough to get it done. Not for the number one pick
-
That's easy. Because I'm comparing it to "Total QBR." All of this is within the context of the chart. If you don't like QBR, then you're probably going to hate Total QBR worse.
-
Inconsistent is Bryce's middile name
-
So easier to fabricate?
-
so what i am seeing is he played alot better than stafford.....hmmmm...my eyes lied to me glad this fixed it and he actually was the third best playoff qb this weekend just sad everyone else on the team sucks and holds back his greatness ahahahahha
-
QBR is a proprietary statistic and ESPN won’t even fully reveal how they calculate it. not sure how you get “less subjective” out of that.
-
He just needs a clean pocket and wide open receivers. Seattle has plenty of cap room. They will resign Shaheed.
-
3rd highest time to throw and the lowest passer rating. Nothing to spin.

Consensus view on Evero summed up in 1:00
electro's horse replied to Mills's topic in Carolina Panthers
So you're saying the defense played great until the end of the game. maybe they were tired? maybe player fatigue level impacts the kind of plays you call? Maybe there is a reason the panthers defense was so tired at the of the game? Maybe the Panthers don't have the skill or depth on defense to overcome a completely ineffective offense? Maybe these exact same circumstances are the only time that bryce looks like an average NFL QB? nah. fire evero -
I mean, QBR is the one that is less subjective (basically the one that really matters). Total QBR is adjusted and based upon who you're playing. Bryce did well, relative to who we were playing (and relative to what he normally does), but don't mistake it for a season's work.
-
Which one of these QBs would you not immediately trade Bryce for if given the chance? how about that spin? Not including Rodgers of course.
