I'm a firm hell no on trading any future 1sts until we're absolutely certain Bryce is the long-term answer. I don't see how anyone could be certain of that as of now.
-
If that is what it takes, I’d be all for it. Didn’t Tepper say something about having bryce in a rookie contract allows the team to load up elsewhere? Or was that fan speculation? Well, either way, time to prove it lol
-
Garbers was cut day two of TC, or was it day one??.... He didn't stay long enough to digest the beacons greatness..... They seem perfectly fine with with 3, all of reports praising Dalton. Just like plummer improved so has Dalton and of course BY too.
-
Well, I think this will be the start of me dropping NFL. But I allow to see how it goes, just feels like the end of me investing time following my favorite team.
-
This, and the Cowboys lose additional leverage because he’s in the final year of his deal. If he truly wanted to, he could sit out the season and Dallas would get zero compensation for him. Truly think a 1st next year and a mid round pick could get it done.
-
Hes wants the highest paid non-QB deal. Like Horn he's got some injury questions, its awful hard to pay someone in street cloths. I do not see any way Dallas trades him. Lastly, everyone in near talking about two 1st is enough??? I think it was be MUCH more, like another 1st, 2nd and mids and maybe even some players. He's young and a force when healthy. I hope he doesn't end up in the NFC south and I see no chance Panthers even call.

Offer a 6th and vet minimum!

I edited the post to add more info about the most recent history of the two firsts trade package. https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2023/3/6/23627251/3-recent-nfl-trades-including-two-first-round-draft-picks-khalil-mack-trade-tunsil-trade-watson Honestly with how teams are gearing so heavily with analytics I have a hard time believing a team will actually cave to those demands this go around.
-
Schefter was thinking it could go like the bears Khalil Mack trade. I don’t remember the exact details of that trade but it was a hefty haul.
-
I don't think the two firsts is going to go down. We've seen teams posture with that demand but when is the last time it actually happened? Watson Tunsil Mack In that order. The Watson package alone is enough to put an end to these wild trades. But the other two certainly don't help either.
-
Two 1st rounders minimum, and $40 mil per year minimum. That's a steeeeeep price....but damn I'd be excited.

It's practice but we definitely need to see Bryce work on underthrowing those back of the end zone passes. These are issues opposing defenses already know about it's on film.
-
The first sentence of that second tweet.....
-
He would instantly solve ALOT of problems and I believe would allow us to contend for South.
-
Meh. Posturing.
-
We already drafted two Micah Parsons this offseason.
-
Happened once in my Carolina fandom. I really wanted Greg Olsen and we took Beason. We ended up getting Olsen later. And that worked out pretty well, I'd say. I really wanted Parsons over Horn, so if we have a chance to grab him, I'm 100% for it!
-
They are gonna want 2 firsts and we should NOT do that Maybe if the Panthers went 9-8 last year and Bryce was more solid and the defense was a player away but that's not us

ESPN kicks off its stupid lists with one including a couple teams with less than no shot: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45716791/cfp-2025-32-teams-make-college-football-playoff

Damn that doesn't sound good. Still just sounds like he would have been fine with it all if something got done in regards to his contract. Cowboys still being the Cowboys is why I still hang in with the NFL. Trainwreck at it's finest.
-
If we landed him

You made fun of 2 NFL scrubs and I made fun of all the scrubs that were below them but somehow it's not the same thing. Scrubs as using the NFL as the baseline so yeah it's scrub ball. All I was trying to do is say that what you did is what teams do. You keep responding like it was ever an attack and I was just saying that's how the NFL drafts so poorly every year. Also covid ball vs any other year? Come on. That year was comical form so many angles. Your football takes when NFL are so well thought out and usually grounded but as soon as school ball comes into it you fall into the same thing every team does in evaluations. That's the point and you still can't see it.
-
32 Million a year ain't gonna convince him. He is looking for top dollar like Myles Garrett or TJ Watt at least $40 million per year.
-
Someone needs to check on Scooter MaGruder.
-
Agreed. One of the few guys I’d go all in on regardless on if you’re a SB contender or in rebuild phase.
