  1. Past hour
  2. yeah but Burns has missed like 100 tackles at least half of which were qb sacks... so its basically even.
  3. It is also the smart move as Tackles in general, and LTs in particular, cost a lot of money So, knowing a qb contract may be incoming, if he is there, take him he can also play RT…and Moton isn’t getting any younger, and can cut Moton after this year and save substantial money so bring back Yosh and draft a LT and find another backup during FA it was what ,playoff teams do
  4. Very risky he is now the 7th highest paid edge in the nfl, and has never had more than 8 sacks in a season and he had 5 last year
  5. Flourished under Vic Fangio and EJ runs a similar system. Perfect fit for the guy
  6. if he is forced to retire due to an injury it's paid out, if he can still play and chooses to leave I think it depends
  7. Taylor Decker would be a no brainer slam dunk signing on a 2 year deal.
  8. Idc what anybody says it was clear as day that we should’ve signed burns . Now we signed a guy who’s Tier below even burns
  9. I don't get it, he had 5 sacks last year He did record 73 QB pressures but I thought our primary need is someone who can finish sacks consistently. I guess this is what $30MM a year gets you these days.
  10. I don't disagree, I mean imagine adding a high lottery pick that we hit on to this group. But yeah I think this team can make a run and all the young guys need to get playoff experience sooner rather than later. The games are different and that experience will be important once we are finally ready to contend year in year out and view seasons as Championship or bust.
  11. Phillips at 30 or Lloyd at 20 Ill take Phillips at 30 over the Lloyd 100/100 times i really wanted Oweh. Wanted more of a pure pass rusher but this is an Evero scheme fit. This scheme isn’t great for pure pass rushers. So if we move on from Evero after this season…
  12. Dan the Man has a plan! Since Dan has taken over, he has been aggressive in tackling each team's weakness every offseason. O-line year one, D-line year 2, Pass rush year 3.
  13. That's what I was thinking...think he immediately makes Brown( and Scourton) even more effective. Makes teams pay for double teaming
  14. How does guarantees work if someone retires? This guy retired as a sophomore in college. If he gets injured again, I could see him hang it up. Also, I like him as a person and player.
  15. The best ability is first, availability and Phillips has missed over a quarter of his possible NFL games due to injury. Burns has missed 3 total games in his career.
  16. It really is if our young guys develop some and he leads the way our line could be crazy productive as far as rushing the passer.
  17. He exploded in Philly when they paired him with Jalen Carter after trading for him. Hopefully he keeps it up with Derrick Brown.
  18. Damn. Certainly risky. If he's a real dog and brings more attitude to the DL I'm gonna hope for the best.
