  1. Past hour
  2. I've always said this from the start. Tepper has made 2 huge mistakes. Rhule and Reich. Im open to adding Fitt as well. Trusting his football people can be damning when you choose the wrong people.
  3. I was just wondering how you were; thank you for the update. Continuing prayers
  4. I think the real bright spot of this is that it was a developmentally-minded staff move and not a win-now move.
  5. I sort of assumed that when we didn't bring in legitimate competition to push Bryce, but then again, this is the Panthers. Usually we won't show our cards until later. But, my disappointment bar just went way down now that Thielen is gone. He, in my opinion, has been the most exciting part of the last two years. Seeing an actual NFL wide receiver play for the Panthers was amazing while it lasted. Now we get go balls galore and have three guys who are route tree newbs. Bryce will get sacked as much as he was in 2023 and the offensive line will be blamed, but it won't be his fault. We all saw what Bryce looked like without Thielen last year. I expect more of the same.
  6. So, it is trolling... You are low-key good at that, I'll give you that. Like I said, I enjoy the banter. For real
  7. I was optimistic at first. I celebrated at least attempting something radically different. Once press and cameras got into camp after COVID going into his 2nd season......the red flags were going off like crazy. And the Panthers have had preseason red flags ever since.
  8. Agreed. For me if I'm the Panthers. QB is in the upcoming draft plans no matter what. We need to develop a young QB2. The position is too important for the team to continue treating it as inconsequential. Now what round that QB is drafted in will be dependent on how Bryce Young looks. If he plays his ass off throughout the season then we can swing on a mid round pick. But if Bryce is average at best or has another set of games where he plays really poorly but then has some better games down the stretch then we should heavily consider swinging on a QB early. In that situation you have simply got to bring in real competition. Let them duke it out in camp 2026.
  9. rent free comes to mind here and one has to be mental if you truly believe that Young is locked into starting here "quite a few more years" You are watching a different qb then the rest of us
  10. I get your point. And of course that could be the case. As it is with any QB. But I can tell you this, after the 2nd half of last season, it will take a complete collapse for the organization to pull the plug after this season. My above point it, the entire organization is behind Bryce and thinks he is the guy. I do too. And while I understand & respect the opinion of people not on board with BY9, this fixation and nonsense over a draft that happened over 27 months ago is insane. Like, that MF horse has been beaten to death multiple times, resurrected, and shot in the head again and left for dead. Leave it in the effing ground. We got much better things to discuss IMHO with the 2025 season getting ready to start. A season I'm excited about
  11. Don't get your hopes up....Analytics don't lie for a reason. I'll root for tho...
  12. Honestly Thielen was released by the vikings or they opted to not resign him dont get all his loyalty to them one team gave you a rise. Other didnt a d ge couldnt give the team who gave him yhe rise a full season Whatever im sure he us a stand up guy all
  13. you saw what the Manning family did when Eli was going to go somewhere they didn't like? Arch ain't coming to save us. we will sign the Gamecocks 5th string QB instead
  14. I'm hoping this means Arch Manning told the Panthers he doesn't want to throw to white WRs.
  15. Ya'll act like Theilen is the only bitch that can get open...It all depends on Bryces' eyes.
  16. Based on the preseason, I can't even argue with you.
  17. BY shouldn't be the guaranteed starter for a few more years unless he earns it. That's how bad teams stay bad. If he does well, great. If he doesn't, it's time to look at the draft again. He's a sunk cost at this point. We, meaning coaches, have to be honest about his progression as a QB. If he's not the guy, as painful as it might be, bite the bullet and move on. I want Bryce to be successful. That means the Panthers can be successful. I just don't want to be attached for another contract just because we're afraid to look for something better.
  18. Good for Cam. I don't have any interest in watching anything on ESPN though. In general the First Take format is incredibly stale.
